DRPLP001PT3
Dom & Roland : Through The Looking Glass : Dom & Roland Productions : 12"
This is the third of six singles that make up the Through The Looking Glass Album and these tracks in particular find Dom returning to the more rolling style of his work. Both share a hypnotic industrial vibe. ‘Half Life’ fielding machine noise, nervy bleeps and swooping FX over quick fire bass, super low sub and steppa beats. While its melancholic piano and deep bass ‘Glow Bug’ puts a more dreamy spin on the unearthly vibe. Fans, of Virus, No U turn, Break and quality Bass & Drum action need this. DJ support from Hive, Gridlok, Bailey all know what's up.!

ALLSORTS05
Twisted Individual : On The Back Seat Of Her Daddys Truck / Out There : All Sorts
It’s easy to pigeon hole artists and to say they only do one sound, one style - sometimes it works for them, and  sometimes it works against them. Twisted is best known as a producer of dancefloor DnB, and with his biggest tracks being ones that get people calling for the rewind it’s easy to see why. If you look a little further though, aside from his excursions into different tempos as Bogeyman he’s had a fair few more leftfield cuts find their way out of his lab - releases on New Identity such as Scurvey, Disfunktional, Pony Pleasure and album tracks like Daffodils and Trench Foot. So now claiming his first Allsorts catalogue number Twisted comes with two rollers in his own unmistakable style. On The Back Seat Of Her Daddy’s Truck starts off with crisp clean beats, smoothing pads, light bongos and vocoded vocals which are then joined by some twisted bass and a distinctive tremolo. The bass and pads keep on morphing throughout the track keeping you guessing where it’s going to turn next perfect for those nights on the back seat of.. Plays from Hype, Crissy Criss, Grooverider and more, ’Out There’ is a much more minimal sci-fi tinged affair. Light marching drums, sprinkles of percussion and mystic auras fill out the intro before a deep wall shaking sub joins proceedings. One for the minimalists. Support from Bailey and Flight amongst others.

Dispatch Recordings are proud to present this latest 12" release from Tactile and a debut release on the flip from L.I.S (Living in Shadows). First up Stress Level and Ant TC1 provide a mighty fine remix of Tactile's 'Caravan', keeping the original elements and building on the drums and arrangement for a more dancefloor feel. L.I.S debut on Dispatch with a musical but tough first offering 'Window Quay'. Both of these tracks have been supported heavily across clubs and radio by the likes of - Klute, A.I, Laurent Garnier, D.Bridge, Atlantic Connection, Chris.SU, SKC, Survival, Tactile and Big Bud to name a few.

HZN024
Insight / Skitty : Jupiter Falls / 10 Steps (Gridlok Remix) : Horizons : 12"
For this, the 24th release for Horizon Music, we are taken to the cosmos for two different sides of the intergalactic plate. Insight jumps in early with „Jupiter Falls‰, which sounds like a funked out trek through the outer limits. The intro begins with soft notes that seem to mimic the controls inside the mothership, as we soon discover that there are falling pieces of matter. Jupiter is, in fact, crumbling, and a cascade of tightly-woven breaks acts as the chunks of this planet coming down upon the ship. The drop comes in to further accentuate the rush, smooth and lush, bringing the whole tune to a head. On the flipside, Gridlok steps up to remix an early Horizons Music favorite, Skitty‚s ‘10 Steps’. This is the soundtrack of two warring factions, settling their differences with photon torpedoes and destructive lasers. What‚s dope is Gridlok seems to have based his remix on the 2nd half of the original, enhancing the fury of Skitt’‚s base sounds into a full-on neuro-fest. Come take this trip with us, as per usual, you will NOT be disappointed.

INNA023
Chris SU : Exodus / Costello : Inneractive : 12"
Rewind!! Rewind!!... The long-awaited arrival of Chris SU's 'Exodus', coupled with the murderous 'Costello’, ’Exodus’s unmistakable hardcore riff and churning bass stomp will devastate dancefloors with ease. Stunning production and DJ friendly arrangement completes this nasty onslaught, ‘Costello’ gets even crazier, distorted dirty funk, rapid beats, and Killed Everybody! vocal sampler. Right up in your face, this tune makes no excuses for its dark dance floor appeal, winding and grinding all over the place! Don’t miss this monster 12”.

D Kay & Black Sun Empire / Trei : Bullet In the Head / Day Away : Obsessions : 12"
: Limited Pressing : On the A-side Dkay and BSE come up with an unexpected tune that is a crossover between many sub genres in dnb and this might be the reason why most DJ's picked it up: from TC to Klute, from Fabio to Noisia, from Hype to BSE and back to Pendulum. You might hate it you might love it, check it out. On the flip we find Trei who returns, after his enormous collab "Vallium Express" with Dose and Menace on Klute's label Commercial Suicide, with a gem of a tune and we're proud to release it!

SAN025
Young Ax : Higher Ground EP : Santorin : 2x12"
Excellent EP from YOUNG Ax featuring 4 tracks from his new album “Higher Ground” ! Young Ax has had vinyl releases on Santorin, Brand:Nu, Critical, beatalistics and Vibez, contributed to compilations for Annie Mac, “Ambassadors” and “High Vitality” and was featured on the BBC’s Grooverider, Annie Mac and Zane Lowe shows. Now we are proud to present his debut album, an extensive showcase of Young Ax’ material. “I definitely don’t like predictable tracks, based on loops and stuff. I want something to happen during the tune. It’s like a live show where someone is playing a wrong note”. In that respect, Young Ax teams up with composer and pianist Sebastian “Mason” Maassen, who adds some Fender Rhodes improvisations. The two are currently working on their joint “Electronic Jazz” project. There is no place for cold electronic sounds on these lively and complex eleven tracks. At the same time, “Higher Ground” does not need one vocal track. This is just 100% pure Young Ax in essence: bridging the gap between musical ambition and rocking the dancehall.

Ancronix / Amaning : Lightly Salted [EBK RMX] / Borderline : Sudden Def : 12"
This will be the first single from Sudden Def in 2008, dropping in late January and shows that this label is continuing to push its boundaries. The ’Lightly Salted’ original by Ancronix has been given a twist and is making a big noise all over again! This is down to the honed skills of EBK, who is recognised as one of the UK’s hot young producers who regularly features on Renegade Hardware, Dsci4 and Tech Itch Recordings. On the flip is the deep and soulful ’Borderline’ reminiscent of the old Reinforced Records sound. Cologne based DJ Amaning is well known across Europe & his pedigree speaks for itself after previous releases on labels like Metalheadz & Soul:r.

FORM12126
Influx UK : Still Universe / Ascension : Formation : 12"
After the massive success of last year’s ’It’s Love’, Influx UK  comes back again with another stormer that’s set to rock dancefloors across the globe. STILL UNIVERSE Starts with filtered beats and pulsating synth pads, which open up to a Spanish vocal before the bassline come in, but hang on, the track isn’t even on full power yet! Calling all ravers to the dancefloor, this one’s devastating. ASCENSION In direct contrast to ’Still Universe’, ’Ascension’ takes us on a more somber journey. A crunchy beat and deep synths coupled with hypnotic ’ahhh’ vocals take us down deep, somewhere between Detroit and Canning Town! The track builds to a climax half way through, then strips back down to pure beat and bassline business.

APORN003
Shimon vs Sparfunk : The Smoker / In The Shine : Audio Porn : 12"
Upfront & limited white label promo… limit 1 per shop! After the release of ‘Snake Charmer’ on Terrafunk, Shimon and Sparfunk team up once again for the highly  anticipated, third AudioPorn release ‘The Smoker’ & ‘In the Shine’. A clinically crafted masterpiece with western B movie samples setting the scene for this dance floor smasher. ‘The Smoker’ with its warped bass trickery and pumping beats it is already causing mayhem in the dnb world with heavy support from the likes of Hype, Zinc, Andy C, Subfocus, Chase n Status and many more ‘In the Shine’ on the flip has a more liquid feel but still enough bite to keep the dance floor’s energy. Soothing pads and funky keys are prominent in this cool little stepper as it glides from start to finish with an air of dirty, funky  sophistication.

BIOS003
Dan Marshall : Crazy (Zero Tolerance) : Bios : 12"
BIOS 003 welcomes 2 new producer to our camp yet again: Dan Marshall from Cardiff, England.A newcomer, already well known through his various signings on the DOA Label “Under Construction” & Brigand, he now debuts on BIOS with a big dancefloor mover - Crazy. This unique track absolutely smashes any dance with its explosive blend of razor-sharp beats, big booming bassline and vocoded male vox samples that make this a epic tune. This one is sure to find a home in any set.The Mighty Zero Tolerance delivers a strong remix here and doesn’t stray too far from the original vibe, but still stamps his production signatures as of recent all over this. Lush atmospheres flowing through solid rolling drums with a dash of amen combined with filtered disco guitars and jazzy elements, topped off with a fat rolling sub bass, makes this an essential 12″ for the box. BLUS007
Bungle, Roots & The Ego Conquest System/Universe : Blu Saphir : 12" (BLUE VINYL)
Conquest System: The delay on this mega-collaboration has seemed to be infinite, but Conquest System will finally see the light of day on Blu Saphir’s seventh release! Drop this on the big system and watch the crowd go crazy! Every time I hear this one in rotation, the melody immediately pulls me in. The flamenco-style guitars crescendo into the melody via a high-hat keeping time. These beautifully composed guitar riffs form the core, leading the way to an array of articulate drums and amazing sounds. You’ll want to put this one on repeat. One listen simply isn’t enough! Universe: My mouth hit the floor as soon as I heard this one. DJ Roots and The Ego create the backdrop while Ill-Esha sings her heart out in the foreground. If you’re a fan of vocals, you’re going to love this one. Her vivacious tones create the vibe on the dancefloor while the techy bassline forms a harmony that can’t be matched anywhere else. Universe is my pick on this release. Big up the Ego, Roots, Bungle and Ill-Esha on a job well done!

CLIMATE003
Rregula & Mastermynd-Invasion / Downtime : Climate Sounds : 12"
More techy dance floor business for this Australian imprint and believe me when I say this is the best release to date as part of bad robot crew Rregular steps up to the plate with his tech fueled slammers.  He teams up with Mastermynd to bring the track ‘Invasion’ which has big tune written all over it, similar to the Noisia sound. For the aa he brings one his own track ‘Downtime’ which will do some serious damage when dropped. Metallic beats and grinding synths ouze from the track whist the bline lies constantly beneath driving the track forward.

FOKUZLTD017
Nphonix vs Morebeat & Gabanna : Ideo Gram / Goodnight : Fokuz : 12"
Promo white labels. Nphonix return's with a proper driving tune after his previous very success FokuzLTD release. This new one reminds us of the early BC days.. Tight beats, with luscious deep strings, technoid bleeps and sounds, that rollout in a big basic B line driven roller. Very minimalist, but one of his better tune... On the Flipside we see the Up&coming Morebeat teaming up with Gabanna. Morebeat is slowly establishing them selves with some very successful releases on Citrus Recordings. This one, as to be expected, is deeper and more on a musical tip while keeping it very techy. Hard beats, Rinsed out basslines, Trancy spaced out sounds along some melodic ingredients.. Keep an eye our for these boyz from the Czech republic.

Silver comes with two tracks by himself for the 11th release. With numerous hits as part as accidental heroes and hits done with sonic on virus and space recordings, he is now concentrating his efforts in to his own imprint.  Dance like Pete is his tribute to a guy that follows his sound and loves to dance! With skipping beats and a wobble to die for this is one for all jump up crew.  Ironhand comes in with a dramatic opening as if from a kung fu film then the booming bassline and Bristol wobble takes over again making this a dancefloor killer.

Time for the 6th installment on this imprint.  Naughty boy drops with crispy fried beats and synth stabs echoed for effect and matched with a big bad a heavy b-line, the flip is a more steppy affair as the beats take on a different format but it still has that typical nightwalker production technics.   Fans of his sound are not going to be disappointed.

DST005
V/A : The Lost Lacquers EP Vol 1 : Destructive : 2x12"
Destructive presents: DST005 The Lost Lacquers EP Vol 1, an outlet for the lost Dubstep gems of yeseteryear that, for reasons unknown, never made the transition from Dubplate to Vinyl, but still hold their weight to this day. Disc One A Positive - Search & Destroy. Piercing synth lines and an ugly bottom end gallop relentlessly over S&D's signature rhythmical drums. B Vicious Circles - Distance .This one's a deep journey into Distances' disgustingly dark and breakier style. Broken beats and razor cut bass pull you down into the abyss of the dark princes' earlier creations. Disc Two C Reflect – Toasty. What can we say? This one's a personal from the legendary Toasty. A deep roller with Sharp percussive bounce to it. One from the vault that we just had to unleash.D Dark Horse - Scandalous unltd .This is an absolute monster of a track. A definitive blast from the past that has destroyed dancefloors from FWD and beyond. Dirty grooves just how we like em.

Ikonika : Please : Hyperdub : 12
Hyperdub unearths another new talent, Ikonika here presenting her debut material for the label, her wonky/bleep dubstep situating itself somewhere between the hook-driven ditties Skream has made his own, and Kode 9's double-time arrangements. The production is suitably plastic, with the focus firmly on those arpeggiated synth notes and synthetic bass rubs that do their thing nicely alongside tight snares that keep the momentum. Of course, by now no one in their right mind would question Steve Goodman's selection skills, and following on from the brilliantly entertaining Quarta 330 twelve, Ikonika is another solid transmission from the country's most developed, forever intriguing bass imprint...

SKULL008
ppleblim & Peverelist : Circling / Over Here : Skull Disco : 12"
Skull Disco is proud to present its latest release; collaboration between the well regarded producers of minimal dubwise beats Appleblim & Peverelist. Whilst Appleblim will need no introduction to Skull Disco followers or ravers at the legendary Forward club where he is resident DJ, Peverelist has also been making waves of his own through his own sublime releases on his Punch Drunk label and has had interest in his music from dubheads, to established radio DJ’s such as Mary Anne Hobbes through to techno DJ’s such as Luciano. This collaboration has brought out the absolute best in both producers, the end result being two outstanding tracks with the most depth and complexity yet on a Skull Disco release.

SKULL009
Shackleton : Death Is Not Final( T++ RMX) : Skull Disco : 12"
For the 9th release in the Skull Disco series we see Shackleton teaming up with Tenfold Vengeance and the legendary Berlin producer T++ (Monolake, Dynamo, Erosion etc.) who is for our money up there with the finest and most notorious Berlin producers right now, pushing the sounds of Basic Channel right through to the bass music that co-exists between Techno, Breaks and Dubstep. Kicking off where ‘Blood on My Hands’ left us, with the minimal techno vibe still firmly intact and a heavy tribal, eastern influence. Both tracks are absolutely epic, inspiring and represent the mashup of genres influencing the Skull Disco camp.

TEMPA30
Benga & Coki : Night : Tempa : 12"
Night’ is a massive hit across all dance genres from nu-rave to bassline house and the biggest anthem on the  holiday islands of summer ’07. ‘Night’ and T2’s ‘Heartbroken’ were the two biggest tunes in Ayia Napa. l‘Night’ falls into that very special bracket of specialist music that has the ability to transcend its genre. Effectively a dubstep track produced by a dusbstep artist, this is as fresh as homegrown British music gets. Along with the school kids on top of the bus, see how quickly you’ll be whistling the bleep . . . Currently being used as a bed during daytime shows on Radio 1 and enjoying heavy rotation by DJ’s including Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Mary Anne Hobbs, Rob Da Bank, Jo Whiley, John Kennedy, Pete Tong, Scratch Perverts, Gilles  Peterson, Shy FX, Sinden, Hot Chip and Ricardo Villalobos, as well as DJ Dave & Co. at Yates’s and other happenin’ bars across the country!

ATG029
Black Canvas vs. Breakfastaz : Babylon (Breakfastaz Remix) : Against The Grain : 12"
Black Canvas make music straight from the heart, music with consciousness. Their debut album ’Rise’ is simply  complex, inspired by life, naturally grown and delivered personally. This album is a distillation of experience, gained first hand from living in ’the land of the blind’. The essence of the music is love and faith, courage, tenderness, generosity and sacrifice. The bar has been raised. ‘Babylon’, a collaboration with between Black Canvas & The Breakfastaz is the first single taken from the album ’Rise’ and is undoubtedly the stand out track in terms of dance floor sensibilities. The Breakfastaz lay down their trademark funky beats, driving basslines and faultless production whilst Black Canvas layer poetic words and soulful harmonies on top. The single will include the vocal and instrumental versions to get 2008 off to a flyer.

FLR084
Slyde : Kiss Kiss Bang Bang : Finger Lickin : 12"
Another impeccable production from the Slyde boys, with driving beats, infectious vocals, and an outstanding remix by man of the moment, Twocker. •Ahead of Slyde’s eagerly anticipated debut album (released in March) ‘Everyone’s Entitled To Our Opinion’, and hot on the heels of their youtube sensation ‘Sex N’ Drugs’ single, is the first Finger Lickin’ release of 2008 – ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’. Setting the standard for the label’s year ahead, and featuring the outstanding vocals of Jamaica’s dancehall princess Lady Posh, this record is set to truly put Slyde on the clubbing map for 2008.  •The irresistible A side is breaks at its best; the bassline begins to weave its way through the sonic stack as Posh seduces with her flirtatious lyrics. The track races with conviction towards the anthemic chorus ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’, the glitzy glitchy synth stabs fire like sirens adding the gloss whilst the bullet sharp snares ride the pulsating bassline.  •An outstanding remix comes courtesy of Pete Tong faves Twocker, whose previous remix skills have run riot on CJ Bolland’s ‘Sugar is Sweeter’ and Morillo’s ‘We Like to Move It’. Their genre-crossing Slyde remix hits all the house buttons, with a jumping jack intro and intense punchy bass lines juxtaposed perfectly with Posh’s vocals.
