SYNDROME006 Rise From Ruin - Catacomb Syndrome Audio 12" Vinyl

White label promo: Syndrome Audio is back with its 6th release. A huge 12 inch already destroying floors all over the globe. Creator of this massive plate is Catacomb, Canada's finest future funker! On the a side Catacomb serves Rise From Ruin, a filthy monster packed with tearing mids, a driving bassline and drums you can't hide from. This track is simply violent. On the flip Catacomb presents Doom Riders. A piece of dark minimal funk coming from the deep propelled by sounds that hit you straight in the face.  Support comes from Ed Rush, Black Sun Empire, Audio, Vicious Circle, Nocturnal, Unknown Error, Nphect, Quadrant, Axiom and more…

SUBTLE009 Apollo - Fracture & Neptune Subtle Audio 12" Vinyl

Subtle Audio welcomes Fracture & Neptune back to deliver a sumptuous slice of space age drum-driven melancholy with “Apollo”.  Drifting and intense all at once this melange of symphonic funk has found favour with the likes of Tony Coleman of Hospital Records amongst others. On the flip-side, Fracture goes solo on “Sound Spectrum 96” – his tribute to a time when the deep Drum & Bass sound influenced him and a lot of others now making music. The authentic break sound, heavy low-end and uplifting atmospherics make this a favourite of Equinox and other purveyors of old-skool aesthetics.

ST HOLDINGS DNB PROMOS

SPACER019 Tearing Soul - Sonic / Makoto Space Recordings 12" Vinyl

White label promo. "And now for something completely different. A long-awaited collaboration between the two current kings of Tokyo soul. Makoto needs no introduction, this ultra-talented prodigy of LTJ Bukem has touched the hearts and shaken the booties of ravers worldwide with his beautiful, melodic music, sounding like it was created in an older, purer era. The only thing this release has in common with Spacer018 is the name Sonic and the fact that it's been made in Tokyo, but stylistically it's a horse of a different colour. They had great fun pulling out Makoto's Rhodes and jamming together, and the song was written in an old-school liverecording way to get that authentic 70's feel. Both have come from a live music background and it shows in this funky jam. But, rather than make a straight-up Makoto sounding tune, Sonic felt it would be fun to push his partner into making something a little heavier than he's been known for. And hence the monstrous bassline that you see before you. This one's a floor-shaker that is smashing it all over the world - the name describes it perfectly: Tearing Soul, coming to tear up a dancefloor near you. Getting excellent DJ support and radio play, you can't go wrong with the feel-good factor of the classic keys and vocals combined with the sheer, gritty energy of it.On the flip, we have what is perhaps one of Sonic's deepest works to date. A rushing, intense Lovesong written to his long-time companion, drum and bass music. This one tickles your spine and covers your skin with goose-bumps. At its heart is a kinetic roller along the lines of earlier Space works such as 'Galaxyflip', 'Futureworld' and especially 'Falling'. It's an emotional song, feel-good, a song where you imagine travelling at the speed of light through all your happiest and saddest memories. When the infectious vocal comes in, the crowd will have their hands in the air, and as the DJ they'll be in the palms of your hands. A perfect way to end a perfect night, making the punters not want to go home."

WARM012 Energy Core - ASC Warm Communications 12" Vinyl

Finished Copy Promos. Having released on many labels such as Offshore, Inperspective, Vibez, Transmute, Soothsayer, running his own imprint “Covert Operations”, a dubstep label him and his wife manage “Vaccine”…saying this man is busy would be a understatement! Whether is uplifting and rolling drum & bass you’re after or dark and menacing, ASC can bring it! This is his third outing on Warm Communications and probably our favorite 12 he’s done for us! SIDE A: -ENERGY CORE Easily one of the labels favorite tunes ASC has released with us. Dark sound effects & glitches open the tune up leaving you wondering when it’s gonna drop.  A stomping 2 step beat charges through making it’s way up to the bass. Steady and rolling is the theme for this auditory sci fi adventure! Quirkly effects, solid beats, thumping bass and a vibe all it’s own make this a winner! Any fans of Polar’s past material will have their mouth’s watering for this slice of future funk! SIDE B:-GREYSCALE Greyscale is the flip here, and takes charge right from the drop. Pounding pneumatic beats, with hydraulic bass, propel this track in a way unheard before. When it breaksdown, is when the magic begins. A dark but anthemic chord progression with pads sets the pace for the vocal to make its way into your head before heading back to those deadly beats. You want something original and breathtaking? Well here it is!

BW29 Loose Control - Rregula & Dementiance Basswerk 12" Vinyl

Two future funk tunes made by Rregula from Australia and Dementia from Germany taking sounds into a deeper level and preparing the release of basswerk session3 compilation later this year. This 12’’ contains lush, atmospheric tunes and a more bassline orientated Neurofunk-Style. Especially ‘Loose Control’ can also be considered a sound adventure, while Slicey is more ravy. This is the best, fresh Tech-stuff you can get. Tunes by Rregula & Dementia have also been released by DSCI4 and Citrus. While Rregula is one half of Bad Robot (Technique/Renegade)“, Dementia a.k.a Rouven Fehr appeared as Destination Unknown“ in earlier days.

TRIM004 Kontamin - Martsman Trust In Music 12" Vinyl

Coming up with a mixture of Drumfunk elements, Dubstep vibes and old school sounds, Martsman is the new kid on the block that  will prove you wrong if you thought you΄ve heard it all in Drum & Bass."Kontamin" is a journey back to the good old days when Jungle didn΄t have the obligation for constant climax that is found in most Drum & Bass tunes today. Picking up the sounds of late nineties Reinforced Records, pre and post millenium RAM and Virus Recordings, and the sober moments of Dillinja's Ghettostep, Martsman melts these influences into his own conception of Drum & Bass. His drum programming is playful, bouncy and rolling, the basslines are clear and punchy and the atmospheres loaded with epic deepness.Flipping "Kontamin" there's a remix of Deo & Matik΄s "Boulder", where Martsman picks up the square-edged sounds of the original and turns it into a futuristic, bitcrushed Bleep-hop theme for 2007. Both tracks create an eclectic vibe on the floor, but are just as suitable for a home listening pleasure on the stereo.

CAMINO12006 Night Trails (P.B.K.RMX) - Future Engineers / FX909 & Miss Drop Camino Blue 12" Vinyl

Camino Blue continue their hectic 12" schedule for 2007 with this hotly anticipated release featuring regulars PBK remixing Future  Engineers, and newcomers to the label FX909 and Miss Drop adding their talents to a label synonymous with it's own spacey brand of futuristic drum & bass. A. Future Engineers - "Night Trails" (PBK remix) The first track of the 12" side sees Camino Blue founders PBK remixing label regulars and renound sonic experimentalists Future Engineers to create a track brimming with atmosphere and intrigue. Combining crisp, tight beats, a sci-fi hook and a club orientated bassline, PBK and Future Engineers have once again ripped up the atmospheric script with a genre-transcending track guaranteed to fit into any set. AA. FX909 & Miss Drop - "On The Top" Making their debut on Camino Blue are FX909 and Miss Drop, both hailing from
