Ragga Twins
: Let Me See Those Hands : 777 : 12”
5/5 In DJ “Anthem of the year!” The forth EP to be lifted from
Passenger Records’ brilliant new mix album ‘This Way UP’ the debut breaks mix
album by drum n bass legend DJ Friction featuring 14 brand new and unreleased
tracks from some of the hottest talents in the world of breaks, commissioned

years in the game and numerous collaborations with The Aquasky. After such previous
breakbeat hits such as ’Everybody Hype’, ’Ready For This’ & ’Coffee’ they
return to form with a call and response old school party vibe. Flip it over and
you find the breakbeat pimps who are presently recording their debut album for
Passenger (May 2008), The Body Snatchers pull in one mean ass remix with a bass
to flatten cities. Presently being supported by Annie Mac on Radio 1, Stanton
Warriors, Rennie Pilgrim (5/5 IDJ review) and The Drumattic Twins, you know
that as usual, this release covers all dancefloors and all parties Released 8th
October 2007 ’This Way UP’ will feature new music from DJ Phetsta, Nick Thayer

Trust. Equalizers
: 3 & 4/The Summons’ : Pure Filth : 10”
4/5 In iDJ “an anthemic blast-off” It’s another tough, funked-up,
work-out from the Equalizers. "3 and 4" is peak-time stadium breaks.
Packing in Laser-synths, bowel-loosening bassquakes, organ-grinders and some
Bill & Ted’s inspired guitar work. A true amalgamation of sound that never
loses it’s musicality. Flipside "The Summons" is a gentler affair.
Spot-on production-trickery, the dreamy pads are scatter-shot throughout with
percussive rolls and organ jabs. A blissed out roller for the end-of-night gurners!

Artist : Pass The Pepper / Daddy / Little Love : Fbr : 12"
Very very cheeky here, utilising the godmothers of hip hop Salt n
Pepper are used but not abused with this lovely little breaks release. Aptly
named "Pass The Pepper" it's thrown into the mix with two other slabs
of breakbeat "Daddy" & "Little Love".

The Breakfastaz & The Freestylers, when you've got attention from these
guys you know he's going to be big!
