Date: 10.15.07 Tackling a cult classic like Love Will Tear Us Apart can mean one of two things, utter musical suicide or a genius-like revamp! Thankfully when the long-time organic Breakbeat pioneer ILS and left of centre London rockers Everyones A Crook teamed up things took a turn for the best. With the film Control set for release in October, depicting the raise of Joy Division and the turbulent life of front man Ian Curtis the timing couldnt have been better. As per with all Botchit & Scarper projects this 12 needed that extra kick, so out came the thinking caps and after much head scratching we enlisted two highly talented studio tweakers for remix duties! First up we have non other than Finlands finest beat smith and fellow Botchit chum LBJ (lazy bones jones, now residing in Berlin...) upping the tempo to plus ten, slapping snares round the dangles and twisting the vocal beyond their limits.
