ALEXI DELANO & XPANSUL - ONE EACH
ADLTD09 – ADLTD
Here we have one of the most anticipated AD Ltd release. It’s a two track Ep displaying these two friends’ solo production skills. If you haven’t heard of them yet, then go check out their releases on PLUS 8, TRAPEZ or LEFTROOM. On one side we have Xpansul throwing down “FORMULA HUMO” massive dance floor filler with one of those twisted melodic hooks that he has come to be famous for. On the flip, label boss Alexi Delano presents us with “OPERATIONS” a deeper but equally as high of a quality track that has been circulating amongst the techno elite for over a year. This is a perfect presentation of a perfectly carved EP. HOT!

TOXIC TWIN (SVEN BREDE) - MIAMI
KGB011 – KGBEATS
Coming from Berlin is Toxic Twin aka Sven Brede. Not a new-comer to the dance-music scene Sven has gained support from Dj’s such as Steve Bug, Laurent Garnier, Ricardo Villalobos, Ellen Allien, etc. Having released Ep’s “Trickster” & “Cracking Down” on the famous High-Grade label made Sven a success in his home country.
For
Miami he does something unique; fusing funk and electro while stepping away from the typical minimal sound.
On the flipside is Dave Dk from another top label Moodmusic. The remix takes the deep-house direction and creates a mood that is perfect for those early and late nights.

MONOBLOCK - 'CHIN PUM FUERA
ARCHPL009 – Archipel
Archipel is pleased to bring Monoblockto it's growing series of 12" releases with the very upbeat single "Chin Pum Fuera!". The A side consists of "Kipp Minn" which is sure to bring a smile to many a face with its bouncy circular rhythm and a delightful polyrhythmic marimba melody reminiscent of fluid rays of amber sunshine floating atop a puddle being whipped up by a summer breeze. The B side begins with a twisted elastic remix of "Kipp Minn" from label-head Pheekwho takes the original and bends it six ways from Sunday and places the original warbling diamond melody in a blanket of warm, fractal, molten rubber. Solidly rounding things off is "Noskippmintool" which is an exceptionally rhythmic tool as heavy as a basket of percussive lead weights and with just the right amount of swing to cause an ocean of liquid contortion.

NATE MANIC + CHAD NORTH - THE NORTH BY MIDWEST EP
BAM001 - Bad Advice Inc
Bad Advice Inc. of Chicago is proud to present our debut release by producers Nate Manic and Chad North. Entitled “the North by Midwest EP”, the 3 track Tech and Electro-Breaks offering is sure to find its home in record bags across the globe.
First off,
San Francisco’s Chad North gives us “Get Mean”, a rowdy Electro-Breaks stomper perfect for peak time. A sizzling bassline and tough beats compliment each other with a groove that has already created a buzz on the west coast and is finding its way onto mixes by quite a few DJs there.
Chicago producer and Bad Advice head honcho Nate Manic provides two tracks for the B Side. “Nuba” is a wonderfully quirky tech-house track that has been gaining a fair amount of play from Techno and House DJs alike throughout the Midwest. “Ya Ho Ya Hey- the Break Fix Mix” is a midtempo breakbeat offering with a steady-rockin bassline and an acidy riff that builds steadily to a hands-in-the-air climax. The song was debuted at Chicago’s legendary Smart Bar in a set opening for Get Physical live act M.A.N.D.Y. and had the entire crowd on its feet, whooping and hollering by the end of the track.
The EP is distributed through Sole Unlimited of Chicago and there are already orders in from San Fran to
New York and beyond. Be sure to pick this one up as it is sure to sell out! Future releases include original music and remixes from Derrick Carter, the Greenskeepers, Full Phat, Jon Milsom and Nick Maurer.

CAMEA - FILLING THE VOID
CLINK10 – Clink
Clink’s leading lady is back with another explosive release for 010! After the success of her previous releases, Camea stays true to the unique and lovable sound of this imprint. The A-side peaks with druggy vocals, layered over a “business-time” double kick and falling synths … a massively sexy tune from one of Techno’s latest rising stars. The flip side is deep, punchy and minimal, suiting to almost all hours of this genre.

ADAM MARSHALL - NIGHT SAILING EP
NK10 - New Kanada
New Kanada's Adam Marshall delivers a stunning peak-hour track with obvious inspiration from old school Detroit techno and classik Chicago house. "Kokane" begins as a tightly wound minimal house groove with precise, pounding percussion and heavily swung Jack. After the 3:30 mark the track gives way glistening synth chords which shine through the darkness transporting the cut into Carl Craig-ish jazz territory. On the flip, Montreal's Ernesto Ferreyra [Mutek, Cynosure] brings a South American flavour to the remix and takes the dancefloor oddessy deep into the Chilean canyons. A late night mixing tool for the DJ's. Lastly, we find the outro called "Moonlight Chills" on the second cut of side B. Ambient and lush, this one is for the late night Detroit highways. Mojo and the darkness along I75! A deep ending to a very personal journey.

JUSTICE
PHANTOM II *SOULWAX/BOYS NOIZE (ED BANGERS ) 12  - 108136
Just when you thought it couldn't get any bigger than the original, Justice's banger 'Phantom' receives some monster remixes courtesy of Boys Noize and Soulwax. The original was a pressing of 2000 which sold out in ONE DAY. This second offering will likely do the same. Soulwax's mix features their trademark style, a meticulous sonic exploration plus some extra sensory abuse thrown in for good measure to the head swirling disco violins. Boys Noize's mix is bound to blow some speakers as well with abrasive and quite funky beats, bleepy synth action and the raucous melody of the phantom used perfectly. A huge tune for Sebastian, Oizo and the rest of the Nu Rave / Ed Bangers associates.(BEC5772169)NU RAVE-12/03/07-FR

DIM
IS YOU *BRODINSKI* (BOYS NOIZE) 12  - 108185
HOT DAMN! D.I.M. sends up another B.O.M.B.!!! Full fledge monster for the dancefloor. This ones got sick filter work, and fuzzed out bass thats runs pretty damn deep! TREVOR LOVEYS & CHRIS BELSEY
K RIZZLE *JESSE ROSE* (MADE TO PLAY) 12  - 108192
Another hot party jam from Jesse Rose's Made o Play label. This time, Trevor Loveys & Chris Belsey team up for a rompus groove monster with a dark bassline, but a party swing. Also, some piano stabs that are similar to Phuture "Rise from your Grave". Near the middle, things get real fun and some horns get shopped up and edited around until they close, and then a hot lick from ESG gets thrown in, presumably sending the room into full on rageing party mode. On the flip, Jesse Rose steps up to deliver a dub that's sure to please lovers of his sound.(MTP010)HOUSE-12/03/07-GE

RAZ OHARA & THE ODD ORCHESTRA
KISSES (GET PHYSICAL) 12  - 108165
Wow, the lead mix, the 'Over Temperature Mix Vocal' of 'Kisses' is unbelievable. It sounds like Royksopp, mixed with Tiefschwarz and a touch of Isolee / Lo Soul action thrown in for good measure. A dub of this follows. Pantha Du Prince's mix is an epic, melancholic mix reminiscent of Herbert / Doctor Rockit material. The beautiful album version is also included on this plate.(GPM080)HOUSE-12/03/07-GE

LINDSTROM
BREAKFAST IN HEAVEN *RMX* (FEEDELITY) 12  - 108139

ARP aka Alexis Georgopoulos (ex Tussle) from California delivers a remix with simple effective and super funky drums and a healthy dose of analog synths making this one a favorite of the Rong crew, Brennan Green and Mr Daniel Wang.(FEED011)HOUSE-12/03/07-FR

VOODEUX
THE CURSE *M SHANNON* (MOTHERSHIP) 12  - 108191
Another grand slam for Claude Vonstroke's Mothership label. This time around, its Voodeux (Tanner Ross & Kilo Watts) working their magic. Deeeeep spooky beats designed for early as well as the ever so spooky late hours. Also has a sick remix from good ol Mike Shannon, who keeps the groove similar to his remix of Brett Johnson & Heathers "Everythings Electric".(MSHIP003)HOUSE-12/03/07-GE

Nick Chacona does it again! More trippy and spaced out nu flavored disco on the straight up organic tip. On the flipside, things get acidic ala his massive remix of Muellum from earlier this year. If you dig Lindstrom and Prins Thomas, you should do very well with this one. Its also worthy on mentioning that Internasjonal is run by Prins homas himself!(INT001)BEARDED DISCO-12/03/07-GE

MAIK LOEWEN
EVEN IF YOU SLEEP (POKER FLAT WHITE) 12  - 108196
Here comes another stellar release for Steve Bug's Poker Flat White. This is the 3rd one, and a 3rd gem to say the least. Napping at the Switch is the very definition of what Steve Bug plays, and of course, wants to release. Heavy percussive drums that lead its way through the track until the second quick breakdown when the strings come in. This should get the party goin! 2 more tracks on the flip with maybe a tad bit of hyperkineticness to them. Definitely a solid EP from a new artist, but one were sure has much more on the horizon.(PFRWHITE03)HOUSE-12/03/07-GE

EULBERG & ANANDA
KIRSCHPLUNDER & JASMINTEE (TRAUM) 12  - 108209
2 of the best producers of the minimal tech-house variety team up for a 2 tracker thats out of this world. The A-side is rather nasty with a well defined bass line, subtle strings, and an absolutely stunning breakdown. Theres also a sound that fades in and out that reminds us of Lil Louis "Blackout". On the flip, the beats get thicker and the vibe gets more pumpin, to say the least. One of those not quite open air cuts. More like music for the end of a perfect night in a dark warehouse.(TRAUMV93)MINIMAL TECHNO-12/03/07-GE

CROWDPLEASER & ST PLOMB
PT 3 2006 RMXS (MENTAL GROOVE LTD) 12  - 108203
Another edition of the remix series from Crowdpleaser & St Plomb. On the A-side, Elin gets down and dirty with a mental  monster thats sure to get the room worked into a tizzy. On the flip, Crowdpleaser himself reworks the duos "New Times Roman". Turning it into a very creepy yet beautiful mental piece that could work very well for the afterhours sets.(MGLTD019)TECH HOUSE-12/03/07-GE

DJ D FT HEIDI VOGEL
BALL & CHAIN *FIASCO/1200 WARR (DEFECTED) 12  - 108021
Dj D teams up with vocalist Heidi Vogel on this deep percussive spoken word vocal killer. D's beats are percussive and have a great tribal edge and the track has a brilliant retro NYC underground house vibe. On the remix front Johnny Fiasco provides an energetic, more pumping deep dancefloor mix that adds beefier beats and dope hypnotic synth hits. 4Kenzo / Robsoul artists 1200 Warriors provide the funkiest of the mixes with breaky house beats, nasty funked up bass and a Da Sunlounge kind of vibe.(DFTD166)HOUSE-11/26/07-UK

UNDERWORLD
OBLIVION WITH BELLS *DLP* (DIFFERENT) DP  - 107335
GATEFOLD DOUBLE ALBUM. Underworld are back with a soulful, contemplative, yet typically uplifting album. The single and album opener 'Crocodile' is simply as good as they get. 'Ring Road' sees Hyde off on one of his famous psycho-geographic jaunts (this one around Romford, on St George’s Day), marking time with his compelling word rhythms, while the treated found sounds in 'Cuddle Bunny Vs Celtic Villages' conjures a decidedly non-cuddly, almost menacing atmosphere. The lusciusly lowering 'Beautiful Burnout' features Underworld's trademark synth swathes and swells with a somehow doomed beauty, but the minimal 'Holding The Moth' boasts such a bass-y spring it practically bounces clean off the vinyl. 'Glam Bucket' meanwhile, shimmers like a sheet of liquid crystal and 'Best Mamgu Ever' offers a sliver of downbeat, Balearic bliss at the album’s close.(4511081012)HOUSE-10/29/07-BE

JT DONALDSON VS EDDIE LEADER

CONAN LIQUID
BRING IT BACK VOL 1 (STRICTLY RHYTHM) 12  - 107900
Liquid People don Conan Manchester returns to Strictly, bringing it back to the old school with a genius selection of bangin beats and old school synth action. 'Bring It Back' follows in the same vein as Marlon D's 'Jesus Created Sound', big and simple but awesomely effective beats and synths that tear it up in the club every time. 'Yeyo's Groove' is another popping slice of straight up underground house funk with a hooky guitar line, Dj Spen styled beats and quirky synths riding over the top of the jacking groove.(SR12646)HOUSE-11/19/07-UK

ELECTRIC RESCUE
TEST FOR TEEN (ELECTROCHOC) 12  - 108023
Two very cool cuts that take influence from techno, minimal, electro and old rave gear. The title cut 'Test For Teens' is already a firm favorite of the Hacker and Oxia and starts off with a rugged, and quite mental growling, growing synth riff that builds the track to a dope drop at which point the track flips 180 degrees into a funkier edged minimal house joint. The track contiually evolves with slick percussion, growing sounds, synths, effects and filters. Very cool shit. On the flip, 'Disturbing' is just that, well actually quite deep minimal and funky with hypnotic synth grooves, moody pads and a Isolee kind of vibe.(CHOC026)HOUSE-11/28/07-FR

Wicked re-edit of Metro Area's biggest hit 'Miura'. KINKY MOVEMENT
HIT AND DIP (DROP MUSIC) 12  - 106478
Drop Music return with another fine offering from Kinky Movement, a three track ep of deep jacking funky house action. 'Illusions' kicks off the festivities and is a bumping slice of Inland Knights styled chunky house with clever samples, a smidgen of funk and a touch of jazz and disco to boot. 'Be Bop' is next up and features a prominent vocal hook and more bumping jazz inflected chunky grooves. Rounding off this amazing ep is 'Say What' a deeper more shuffling monster with a super fat analog bassline, sweet beats and great touches of effects, pads and soul.(DRM054)HOUSE-10/15/07-UK

JUSTIN HARRIS
DEFBROWS *JACOB LONDON* (BAKER STREET) 12  - 107299
Freaks' Justin Harris delivers the third punishing blow for the Baker Street imprint. "Defbrows" is a raunchy, bumping slice of dirty underground house with a filthy female vocal part, cool reversed synth stabs, jacking beats and wild organ sounds & effects. Jacob London's mix has a frantic and quite funky vibe with an off the wall bassline, shuffling beats and that great cut and paste jerky action that we love so much about his productions. Holmes & Waltz also provide a mix, a deeper more sublime rub.(BST003)HOUSE-10/22/07-UK

Here Julien delivers the second offering on Solid State of House's newly formed sublabel Back To Fundamental and shows off a bit of the sound that has influenced his productions. 'The Stock' pays hommage to a few of Julien's heroes, Mr Fingers and Lil Louis. It's a deeply hypnotic and warm euphoric house trip with heavenly pad stabs, entrancing synth grooves and deep shuffling beats. On the flip David Duriez pays tribute to his biggest influence, Dj Pierre and drops his modern take on classic acid house.(SSOHB2F02)HOUSE-10/22/07-FR

Radio Slave has been one of our favorite, most consistently funky motherfucker of 2007. Here he unleashes a weapon that has been in his arsenal for some time, devistating dancefloors since early spring with 'Bell Clap Dance'. It's been a huge staple in his sets and has also been a HUGE tune for Josh Wink, Rob Mello and Claude Vonstroke. The original is a super deep and funky slice of electronic soul. AIE *COBBLESTONE JAZZ* (BROWNSWOOD) 12  - 107865
The masters of in your face Jazz serve up a typically funky and frenzied affair for this, the second single taken from their latest album, 'Pimpoint'. Tugg's Walking Beat Edit is a storming re-edit, while next up on remix duty is Cobblestone Jazz, the Canadian trio of Mathew Jonson, Tyger Dhula and Danuel Tate. Cobblestone Jazz soften some of the spikier edges of the track and warm it up. They pare back some parts, introduce new layers and a bubbling bassline and give 'A.I.E' the full dubbed-out electronic treatment as only they can.(BWOOD024)HOUSE-11/12/07-UK

AUDIO HACKERS *TROYDON* (PHONOSHUFFLE) 12  - 107869
We were first introduced to the Quality Control monniker of Joshua Heath and Troydon on Drop Music with their 'Southern Comfort Ep'. Here for Troydon's own Phonoshuffle label the duo re-unite for more funky house action. 'Slippin' borrows a bit from a certain War track and jazzes it up nicely in a bumping Inland Knights stylee with jazzy licks, deep beats and barely recognizable vocal snippets from the original. Troydon goes solo on a mix of this and is on point as always. On the flip you'll find 'With Dirt' a more energetic romp with deep elements, elements of funk and elements of elements. Jody's biog is deceptive, as he's achieved so much in a short space of time. Selling over 100,000 albums and delivering a Top 40 hit with his band Way Out West would be enough for most people. Yet along side their 3 Albums, countless remixes and production duties on everyone from the astonishingly cool (James Holden, The Orb, Roni Size) to the ridiculous (Natalie Imbruglia) Jody has managed to create music that not only elevates every dance floor but has also been used heavily in film and TV (The OC, CSI, Grey's). Right now, with a new Way Out West album slowly taking shape he has been producing solo works. His first solo single 'ColdDrink, Hot Girl' came out on Distinctive, followed by 'Nostalgia'. DILLINJA
DIGGIN IN YA CRATE (VALVE) DP  - 107748
Dillinja strikes back with a massive EP of tracks that have been seriously smashing up raves the world over and are finally available for mass consumption. The first 12" begins with the mammoth 'Tunnel Grinder'. Starting with a seemingly innocent classic 'Tighten Up' breakbeat this breaks leads us into long dark tunnel of THAT devastating reese sound. Huge kick drums follow and build up to an almighty drop, reminiscent of the classic 'In The Grind' track but taking it in a fresher direction for the 08' (yes its almost upon us!). On the flipside we have a big slice of funky jump up action in the form of 'Make It Work' with a killer and quite massive jumping bassline. The second 12" of the package features a track called 'Life' beginning with a deeper, rhodes led intro, high pitched cold strings take us into a fierce barrage of stomping basslines and a hard 2 step drumbeats. Last but not least, this EP is completed with the massive 'Take Me All The Way'. Relentless kick drums and nasty reese basslines are the order of the day here with a great male vocal and a seriously heavyweight dark drop.(VLV024)DRUM & BASS-12/03/07-UK
