UNDERWORLD
OBLIVION WITH BELLS *DLP* (DIFFERENT) DP  - 107335
GATEFOLD DOUBLE ALBUM. Underworld are back with a soulful, contemplative, yet typically uplifting album. The single and album opener 'Crocodile' is simply as good as they get. 'Ring Road' sees Hyde off on one of his famous psycho-geographic jaunts (this one around Romford, on St George’s Day), marking time with his compelling word rhythms, while the treated found sounds in 'Cuddle Bunny Vs Celtic Villages' conjures a decidedly non-cuddly, almost menacing atmosphere. The lusciusly lowering 'Beautiful Burnout' features Underworld's trademark synth swathes and swells with a somehow doomed beauty, but the minimal 'Holding The Moth' boasts such a bass-y spring it practically bounces clean off the vinyl. 'Glam Bucket' meanwhile, shimmers like a sheet of liquid crystal and 'Best Mamgu Ever' offers a sliver of downbeat, Balearic bliss at the album’s close.(4511081012)HOUSE-10/29/07-BE

HARDSOUL FT FIERCE RULING DIVA
SELF RELIGION *DAVID PENN* (DEFECTED) 12  - 107424
One of the stand out tracks from Hardsoul's forthcoming 'D-Fused & Digital' compilation, 'Self Religion (Believe In Me)' further demonstrates the Dutch Duo's talents extend well beyond the DJ booth and threatens to be as big as the rest of their back catalogue. Mark knight's mix takes the package techy and delivers a mix that's bound to get abused in those late night sets. Mr Penn does the business with his trademark keys, ripping it apart with that classic House sound we've come to know and love. This is a battle weapon that’s not to be missed.(DFTD175)HOUSE-10/29/07-UK

RANDABERG EGO ENSAMBLE
VESTAMARAN *PRINS THOMAS* (FULL PUP) 12  - 107534
Here's the 2nd release on Full Pup this week for Randaberg Ego Ensemble. This one is a more laid back, but VERY heavy on the arpeggio. Dirty nasty bearded disco action here, folks. On the B-side, label boss Prins Thomas does his thing maging the drums rock a bit more and definitely brings the cerebral up even higher. HIGHLY reccomended stuff here.(FP10)HOUSE-10/29/07-GE

MUSICLOVELIFE
APHROMASH (LOUNGIN) 12  - 107453
MusicLoveLife are Phil Asher and Mark De Clive Lowe and here give their take on the hot Fidget house sound with 'Aphromash'. We start with the 'Tech' mix which features a filthy bassline, deep dirty jacking beats, tripped effected sounds and slick techy stabs that wind throughout the funked out fidget grooves. The main mix has a sweet vocal hook and more Switch styled bass, backed by that wicked deeply effected sound. The third mix features even more of the sweet vocal part and has been getting major attention from Dave Taylor, Sinden and of course label head honcho Jesse Rose.(LGN013)HOUSE-10/29/07-UK

AME
FIORI  *12" MIX* (OSTGUT TON) 12  - 107565
AT LAST!!!! The amazing track from the Berhein compilation entitled "Shut Up And Dance" is released as a 12"!! Contains the original completely mental original from Ame, as well as a slightly more clubby version suitable for nearly any dancefloor. When the book is closed on the Ame boys, this will be one of the ones remembered for years and years to come. Completely brilliant stuff here!(OSTGUT10)HOUSE-10/29/07-GE

TOMMY BONES
FUTURE CLASSIC (REAL TONE) 12  - 107490
If Osunlade & Chain Reaction got together it would sound a little something like the A side's 'Uhuru-Freedom'. It has a deep percussive and jazzy vibe with a slick touch of dub and quirky electronic trickery. Deep and soulful. 'After The Club' has a great old school vibe with a thickly sliced Juno bassline reminiscent of Robert Owens' "I'll Be Your Friend". Rounding off the package is another deep and retro sounding number 'Focused Energy' with beautifully deep and soulful melodies, warm pad stabs, analog bass and a Mr Fingers vibe.(RTR024)HOUSE-10/29/07-FR

GOLD, DIAZ & YOUNG REBELS
DONT YOU WANT ME *SPOON/GELDER (ROYAL FLUSH) 12  - 107151
HUGE CLUB KILLER! Francisco Diaz, Young Rebels and Thomas Gold team up on ths MASSIVE peak time bomb. It reworks Felix's classic cut 1992 of the same title into a modern hit borrowing all the original melodies and that unmistakable vocal hook and rinses them out with ginormous new beats, building grooves and killer new synth action. David Spoon, Peter Gelderblom both provide extra large mixes on this platter set to destroy dancefloors everywhere.(RF071)HOUSE-10/25/07-FR

DAVE GAHAN

MASTIK SOUL
HOME WORK VOL 3 (4 KENZO) 12  - 106865
Third volume of Mastik Soul's awesome 'Home Work' series. 'Tormento' is a filthy jacking slice of tech house with a female vocal hook courtesy of Lindsay Kovich. This cut has been getting early support from Dj Sneak. A dub of this follows on the A. On the flip 'No Name' is an aggressive acid-meets tech house cut with killer dirty synth action, beefy beats and funky bit of filtering.(4KENZO015)HOUSE-10/29/07-FR

BRANE
UP & DOWN *JERONSKI/PROK & FIT (DATA) 12  - 107297
LIMITED DATA PRE RELEASE FINISHED COPIES! Latest greatest Data signing, Brane's "Up & Down" is a rocking slab of funky electro house action getting much support from the likes of Axwell, Chris Lake and Prydz. Remixes on this pre release 12" come from CR2's Jeroenski, Prok & Fitch and Daniel Myoozikk. Big TUNE! The Jeroenski mix is quite cool and reminds us a lot of Global Communications' "The Way" with a more electro house tilt.(DATA175P)HOUSE-10/29/07-UK

RUN DMC
ITS LIKE THAT *AXEL NEVILLE* (WHITE) 12  - 107423
Axel Neville puts a new spin on Run DMC's "It's Like That", taking the vocals and lacing them into quite a tough electro house groove. LIMITED STOCK!(NEV001)ELECTRO HOUSE-10/29/07-UK

RANDABERG EGO ENSEMBLE
KEPSJ (FULL PUP) 12  - 107520
First in a series of 2 releases this week on Prinz Thomas' Full Pup label from Randaberg Ego Ensemble. This one has a bassline that cuts pretty damn deep, with nice added guitar work that doesnt really get in the way. Simple, rhythmic, and drum heavy. On the flip, a bit more uptempo for more peak hours in your loft party. Very reccomended if you are even the least bit into the Nick Chacona or Lindstrom sounds.(FP09)HOUSE-10/29/07-GE

RAUDIVE
GOOD BOY BAD BOY (KLANG) 12  - 107563
Oliver Ho returns to Klang under his Raudive moniker for a peak hour party jam designed to rock the entire party. Lots of oscilating sounds and a really dirty bassline stab. The beats switch back & forth from 4/4 to a bit broken, and theres a vocal thing going on very slightly and never overused. The b-side has the same type of vibe, but just used in a different sort of way. This one is a banger, folks! Don't sleep.(KLANG125)TECH HOUSE-10/29/07-GE

POLE *MOLE/FRIVOLOUS*
PT 2 STEINGARTEN RMXS (SCAPE) 12  - 107564
Part 2 of the Pole Steingarten remixes. This time around, it's The Mole and Frivolous giving the treatments. First off is The Mole with his deep and dark sludge house stylings. Slowtempo with a bassline so thick it's sexy. Frivolous' mix is more of a party jam. Different stylings and definitely on a more playful tip. As far as remixes go, it's probably the best proper remix of both parts of the set. And considering how good the Huckaby, Dimbiman and Melchior remixes were, thats truly saying something!(SCAPE48)TECH HOUSE-10/29/07-GE

4 KENZO ALL STARS SAMPLER
VOL 2 *MASTIK SOUL/RUI DA SILV (4 KENZO) 12  - 107250
On the A side, Rui Da Silva provides a twisted deep and jacking techy mix of Mastik Soul's 'New Sound Generation'. This reminds us a lot of old Terry Francis material with slick shuffling beats, deep effects and nice bits of techy melodies. If the RZ / Brique Rouge or Robsoul imprint's more your flavor, check out Monoman's remix of 'The Autobot'(4KENZOLTD3)HOUSE-10/29/07-FR

DOMU PR PETE SIMPSON
LOOK A LITTLE FURTHER *DJ SPEN (PAPA) 12  - 107287
Dj Spen & The Muthafunkaz provide three sweet deep and jazzy mixes of Pete Simpson's "Look A Little Further". Their vocal mix is laced with soul, a NYC garage-ish vibe and has Timmy Regisford / Tony Humphries written all over it. Their instrumental mix has a dope Basement Boys feel and will undoubtedly appeal their fans. Lastly we have an alternate vocal mix which also has a great soulful Basement Boys vibe. The album mix is also included on this package.(PAPA039)HOUSE-10/29/07-UK

HOXTON WHORES VS 4TH MEASURE
4 YOU (WHOREHOUSE) 12  - 107447
The Whores are up to no good again, this time taking the 4th Measure Men's 1993 anthem '4 You'. Here they update the cut nicely taking the cheeky synth horn riff and Rozalla styled synth bells and inject tough electro house power. The original vocal creeps into the mix ensuring maximum dancefloor impact.(HOUSE014)HOUSE-10/29/07-UK

CHOCOLATE PUMA
I WANNA BE *TUFFHOUSE* (TUFFHOUSE) 12  - 107493
The Tuffhouse crew are banging out the jams and follow up their recent Darude makeover with this nasty reworking of Chocolate Puma's anthem 'I Wanna Be U'. This reconstruction uses much of the wicked synth action from Basement Jaxx's 'Fly Life' and injects it into the grinding bassline from the original mix with big dancefloor beats and non stop energy.(TUFF004)HOUSE-10/29/07-UK

MARKUS LANGE
PERIHELION *JEWEIL* (CRAFT) 12  - 107496
Craft Music's young prodigy Markus Lange returns with another killer ep of quirky house action. The title cut has Markus' typical techy / hypnotic style but it's 'Fallout' which caught our ears on this release. It has a quirky, jacking fidget sound perfect for the Herve/Switch/Sinden fans out there with weirdo funky bass, jacking beats and wobbly grooves. French producer Julien Jeweil (Electrochoc/Skrymtpom) remixes the title track, giving it a dreamy and quite stunning edge.(CRAFT027)HOUSE-10/29/07-GE
PIG & DAN
MAGIC VALLEY (SONIC SOCIETY) 12  - 107502
The bassline on 'Magic Valley' is completely filthy and funkier than your fart soaked underpants, it pushes the haunting sci-fi sound effects forward while crisp hats, beefy kicks and really wild sounds take you deep into the sauce. This shit is bad ass and definitely some of Pig & Dan's coolest cuts to date.(SOS005)HOUSE-10/29/07-GE

GOLDFISH & DER DULZ
13 KLANGE *PLASMIK* (DESSOUS) 12  - 107517
KILLER 12" here from Goldfish und der Dulz on the Dessous label. Things get started with Version 1 of the title track, "13 Klange", which is more of a darker techy thing with a very simple blissed out breakdown thats catchy as hell! After that, the "Alternative Plasmik Remix" which is deep & dark, just the way we like it. Lots of ambient builds that get thina's going, and leave you screaming for more. Flipping it over, we have the actual "Plasmik Remix" which is completely different from the other mix in the sense that this one is more bassline driven and PERFECT for sunrise sets. To close out, an original track from Goldfish & Der Dulz called "Chirocco", which is another deep techy bass driven jammie.(DES075)HOUSE-10/29/07-GE

WILL SAUL *WAHOO*
EP 1 SIMPLE SOUNDS (SIMPLE) 12  - 107544
Really nice deep tech house stuff here from Will Saul on the Simple label. Blissful and deep are 2 words that come to mind with this one. Think of the Manuel Tur from a few weeks ago on Compost Black Label, then add deep strings and youre there. The B-side for this one belongs to Wahoo, making Will's cut "Mbira" into a deeeep damn near tribal territory. Ala Ferrer/Sydenham or even Ame in their more epic times. Really great stuff you probably wont want to pass up.(SIMPLE0726)HOUSE-10/29/07-GE

RICK WADE
NIGHTS TACTICS (YORE) 12  - 107549
Yup! You see the artist. Big Daddy Rick Wade is back in town dishing out 4 completely sick deep house cuts with the rowdy drums we have come to know and love from his Harmonie Park releases. If youre not familiar with him, think old Masters at Work or Kenlou stuff from the mid 90's. Think of Rainy City Records. Think of Moodymann. Definitely think of grabbing this record! Sick Detroit deep house at it's best.(YRE005)HOUSE-10/29/07-GE

DAPAYK SOLO
BIS AN DIE SZENE BEWAFFNET (ORAC) 12  - 107561
Following the recent success of the full length of his Black Beauty LP (produced as Dapayk & Padberg), Dapayk comes to us with another solo outing for the Orac label. And hot DAMN does it kick ass! The lead cut starts off with about 2 mins of ambeint intro noice, then slamming into a klunky beat heavy rhythm that grows and grown with a crazy about of strange additions of basslines and edits. This one turns into a complete minimal party bomb right before your ears! On the flipside, 2 more cuts that hold their own in being dancefloor cuts, while also sounding very fresh and original. Probably our favorite techno record of the week, if we kept track of that sort of thing here. Just buy it, and thank us later!(ORAC26)TECH HOUSE-10/29/07-GE

REINHOLD RILEY
LULL (MBF LTD) 12  - 107562
Newest offering from Riley Reinhold from My Best Friend's LTD department. "Klaus" is a drawn out hypnotic tech house cut perfect for grooving out into the wee hours of the night. "Vlad" is a bit darker with a deeper bassline and lots of little quick scary sounds that come in from time to time. Definitely some sick stuff here.(MBFLTD015)TECH HOUSE-10/29/07-GE

DADA LIFE
FUN FUN FUN (PRESTEL) 12  - 106765
Dada Life are Swedish bleep technicians Olle Corneer & Stephan Englbom. Their first record, 'Big Time', for the Breasfted was one of the biggest club records of 2006. 'Fun Fun Fun!' is jam packed with hooks and with beats to match, this is the kind of no-nonsense good-time dance music that makes dancing in the sunshine such a pleasurable experience. Remix come the Ghent based and in form Fredo & Thang where they take the turbo charged original and flip it into the kind of old school piano workout that sounds like Radio Slave jamming with Marshall Jefferson.(PRESTEL003)HOUSE-10/25/07-UK

PHILIPPE B VS JUNGLE BROTHERS
ILL HOUSE YOU *BROWN SUGAR* (TWISTED MY DJ) 12  - 107153
Philippe B has been responsible for many a retro anthem make-over and here takes on the Jungle Brothers classic 'I'll House You'. His mix blasts off with dope new beats, all of the original vocal and quirky new synth action. Roman Curtis and Brown Sugar join in on the fun with more electro fuelled mixes of this classic.(TMD001)HOUSE-10/25/07-FR

CARL KENNEDY VS MYNC PROJECT
RIDE THE STORM *FIASCO* (PACHA BLUE) 12  - 107161
Second set of mixes for this fantastic vocal club house cut gets a mighty reworking from Johnny Fiasco who takes the track deep into soulful Ferrer styled territory, adding hypnotic synth riffs, deep beats and effects and works the vocal nicely. Nacho Marco, Leggz & Femi B and Carl Kennedy also provide remixes on this platter.(PB012T)HOUSE-10/25/07-FR

Third set of fantastic mixes for Carl Kennedy & Mync Project's 'Ride The Storm' comes courtesy of Morten Trust aka Soulmagic on Soulfuric. His mix is very much on the Soulfuric Deep tip, soulful with a big disco bassline and warm pads.(PN011)HOUSE-10/25/07-FR

DEEP DISCO CULTURE
VOL 2 *AZOTO/UNIVERSAL ROBOT* (SUSSD) 12  - 107281
Suss'd Records is the label responsible for the recent revival of the Salsoul and P&P imprints and here drop a great taster 12" from their "Deep Disco Culture Vol 2" mixed CD. This four tracker starts off with the latin disco bomb 'San Salvator' from Azoto which sounds a lot like Rey De Copas 'Frontera Del Esueno'. Epic summery hands in the air latin disco killer. Next up is the Disco Robot Band with 'Doing Anything Tonight' another uber cool, very rare and incredible disco gem that has all but been lost until now. Two more rare disco gems on the flip complete this essential addition to any serious disco collectors catalog.(SUSSD12002)DISCO-10/29/07-UK

ROBYN
HANDLE ME *WILLIAMS* (UNIVERSAL) 12  - 107389
We're still hoping they repress Roby's 'Konichiwa Bitches' but until then check out Get Physical's Willams remix of Robyn's "Handle Me". Its wickedly deep and funky and ass shaking for sure.(1751221)HOUSE-10/29/07-UK

EAMONN DOYLE
COME DOWN ON THE MUSIC (D1) 12  - 107395
The original mix of 'Come Down On The Music' has a brilliant Underground Resistance meets Spiritual Life vibe with techy bass, jazzy pianos and a soulful afro vocal chant. We could definitely picture how this one would have gone down big time at the Body & Soul parties. On the flip UR's Los Hermanos provide the remix, a more energetic and driving techno influenced mix with rugged beats and as always great epic melodic work and driving dancefloor vibe.(DONE040)HOUSE-10/29/07-UK

MYPD
YOURE NOT ALONE *MICHA MOOR* (ROYAL FLUSH SPECIAL) 12  - 107420
Sweet remake of Olive's 1996 classic "You're Not Alone". Micha Moor provides a stomping electro house reworking that makes nice use of Liz's freshly resung vocals and perfectly places them over his rocking production.(RFSP048)HOUSE-10/29/07-FR

KASH
CHOCOLAT *DJ FIST/DOKTOR* (ACADEMY) 12  - 107421
Orgasmic vocal on the original mix of "Chocolat" with a hot electro house production to back teh erotic female moaning. Dj Fist (Congos/Tumbata) provides a deeper penetrating mix (Sorry we just couldn't help ourselves) that adds some great twisted bouncy synth riffs. Antoine Clamaran Favorite Doktor provides a remix on the flip, a tougher driving mix with dirty building synths and a dope breakdown that slows down to get in time with the nasty orgasmic moaning.(ACADEMY031)HOUSE-10/29/07-FR

NICK TERRANOVA & AUSTIN LEEDS
ACID DISCO *STARKILLERS* (FINE TUNE) 12  - 107422
Terranova & Leeds follow up their well received release on Stealth with a retro acid club banger for Antoine Clamaran's Fine Tune label. 'Acid Disco' as expected has a bit of both laced into the dirty jacking grooves with hard hitting beats and a perfect little vocal hook of the title.(FT036)HOUSE-10/29/07-FR

ILIJA RUDMAN
UNDER THE WATER *BOOGIE CORP* (DEEP FREEZE) 12  - 107452
Rong Music's Ilija Rudman follows up his wicked release for the Love Is War imprint with a double dose of deep disco funk for Deep Freze. The title cut 'Under The Water' is a disco boogie workout with a futuristic vibe reminiscent of Lindstrom or Emperor Machine with multiple layers of italo tilted synth arpeggios, epic uplifting melodies and a boggie bassline. Speaking of boogie, 20:20 Vision's Boogie Corporation provide the remix, a tougher more straight up dancefloor killer currently getting much love from Ralph Lawson and Daniel Wang.(DF029)DISCO-10/29/07-UK

MARK OSULLIVAN
TRANS *JAMIE ANDERSON* (BRIQUE ROUGE LTD) 12  - 107461
Excellent package on the Limited arm of David Duriez's Brique Rouge imprint. In its original form, 'Trans' is a bumping slice of funky house that sounds like a mixture of the west coast house sound ala John Larner with a dirtier acidic edge ala Tim Paris / Chris Carrier. Brique Rouge has enlisted a fine bunch of remixers for this cut with NRK's Jamie Anderson the first to deliver the goods. His mix is pure tech soul with breaky house beats, clever synth work and booming sub bass action. DOG TAGS *LANCE DESARDI*
ON AGAIN *EYERER* (COCO MACHETE) 12  - 107487
Lance Desardi dons a new guise for this first release on the newly relaunched Coco Machete imprint (now coming via France). 'On Again' sees Lance's tougher more gritty electro side and features just a smidgen of a vocal sample from George Kranz's 'Din Da Da' laced into a rugged and quite funky Sebastian Leger / Steve Angello flavored groove. Remix comes from Martin Eyerer who drops quite a funky retooling with hypnotic beats & percussion and very cool synth work. First up Olav drops a deep and jacking mix which starts off using lots of the original guitars & vocals before dropping into a sublime and hypnotic groove that has rolling deep sub bass, driving synth stabs and great bits of effects. Really druggy shit. Don Diablo's mix goes in a more Frenchie direction with noisy filtering, choppy editing and hard edged synth action.(MFH015)HOUSE-10/29/07-UK

ROCK solid EP of the tech house variety. 3 tracks here. The opener on the A-side is a perfect cross between Steve Rachmad and Basic Channel. MARK HENNING
HOT FORK BUFFET EP (EINMALEINS) 12  - 107518
Mark Hennning hits us with another helping of what he does best: techy, trippy minimal rockers laced with sick amounts of dancefloor driven beats. 2 cuts here. The first is a sleek and trippy number with this little grit stab that oscilates a bit to kinda make you feel a bit off center from time to time. Not to mention the hyperactive fills thrown in at random times. Very Sweet N Candy like. On the flip, things get deeper but still funky and even at times, quite scary! I'm sure ol Troy Pierce is ALL over this one.(EINS026)MINIMAL TECHNO-10/29/07-GE

Rough rhythms designed for rockin the floor with some Detroity stabs and a guy talking about "It's 6:15 in the morning. I'm drunk, I'm high, and I'm in Chicago". On the B-side, things get really rockin! Tuettchips & Tim Hoax bring us a rocking and very acidic jam that would fit at home on the Musique Risquee label very well. Highly worth checking out!(OSTLTD003)MINIMAL TECHNO-10/29/07-GE

That would be the incredible 'Flim Flam' which originally appearred on Nuphonic and was a catalyst for the immense rise of that imprint. Here once again Diesel dons his Yellow Sox monniker and drops whats sure to be a track as large as its predecessor. 'Zig Zag' features thumping beats, sweet synth licks, a booming sub bassline, captivating strings and that hypnotic & jacking house vibe that fans of Dennis Ferrer will find unmissable. TUGG / FELIX DICKINSON
GETTING HIGH/SMOKELESS MACHINE (CYNIC) 12  - 107291

Doc Martin is a big fan of the imprint and still plays many of their releases (especially the first release from Foolish & Sly). Here we are treated to two deep dark underground killers, the first from Tugg whose productions have been getting some major attention and whose previous efforts include drummiing for Faze Action, Basement Jaxx, Lady Soverign and Kano. TERRY HUNTER
WONDERFUL *KENNY DOPE* (SOUL HEAVEN) 12  - 106513
Terry Hunter's recent smash hit "Wonderful" just got bigger with remixes from the inimitable Kenny Dope. Kenny provides both a vocal and instrumental on this plate and we have to say, they're fucking bad ass. Terisa Griffin's vocals are killer over Kenny's nasty beats on the vocal mix and the bassline is as funky as they come. The instrumental works the hell out of Kenny's breaky house beats and that fat new bassline along with the pushing stabs which come more to the front of the mix. An accapella is included as well on this package.(SHR016)HOUSE-10/15/07-UK

Puzique return to Boyz Noize for an absolute ROCKER of an EP. The lead off cut sounds like somewhat of a collab between Discovery era Daft Punk meets Boys Noize. MARTIN BUTTRICH
HUNTER (COCOON) 12  - 107338
Martin Buttrich is truly a phenomenon. Since 1995, he's produced / engineered and remixed for various artists including Loco Dice, Timo Maas, Mousse T, Depeche Mode and many more. Despite only releasing 7 of his own productions, Martins name carries a lot of weight as those productions have ALL been massive, especially his Planet E release 'Full Clip'. Here Martin brings his unique sense of groove and top not production skills to the Cocoon imprint and drops the evil 'Hunter' and tough and funky 'Haunting'. 'Hunter' features a slick and quite infectious synth hook that instantly captures your ears and starts infiltrating your ass. There are nasty and quite psychedelic oscillating pads, gruny bass and deep shuffling minimal beats rounding off this sick production. 'Haunting' has a rougher vibe with hard edged beats, a killer spoken word female vocal hook, deep melodies and haunting pads.(COR039)HOUSE-10/22/07-GE

DJ SPEN
SEXY DANCER (CODE RED) 12  - 107300
After a string of sell out DJ dates and critically acclaimed releases, big things are expected for DJ Spen's latest offering. 'Sexy Dancer (Do That Sexy Dance)' is, as Spen himself ndicates, a break from what you might expect from the Soul man. The original is so tech-infused it's boderline techno; a driving track, with a tough kick, fizzing hi-hats and an industrial feel, reinforced by a repetitive and forceful vocal. The Tommy and Spen Mix moves into slightly more familiar territory, with a bouncin' bassline, juicy pads and energetic keys, while still mainaining the dynamic tempo of the original.(CODE014)HOUSE-10/22/07-UK

Joungman-owned stable of labels for another dope single. "I'm Down"- prime time disco sample fun, aimed for the danceflo- or, and immaculately constructed. Frequent Fliers take thepiano bits from the original and work them into a nice track- y number, adding in some cool new samples and a thick sub bass. Flip for the Count Funkula remixes - "Count Funkula's Stuff 'n'Thangs Remix" is a massive rework, highly reminiscent of the Basement Jaxx sound of the late ninetees, with cutup piano chops and compressed-as-hell drums, this one is thefloor filler of the lot. The "Fun With Faders Remix" uses the same drums but takes it in a more dubby, bass-heavy direction  a perfect DJ Tool. Another unbeatable package from Fetish.(FR019)HOUSE-10/15/07-US

A perfect blend of deepand funky house with fantastic drums and horns coupled with a bumpin' bassline and an absolutely infectious vocal.
