YELLOW SOX
ZIG ZAG *ROLAND APPEL* (FREERANGE) 12  - 107279
X Press 2's Darren House aka Diesel has only released one track under his Yellow Sox guise. That would be the incredible 'Flim Flam' which originally appearred on Nuphonic and was a catalyst for the immense rise of that imprint. Here once again Diesel dons his Yellow Sox monniker and drops whats sure to be a track as large as its predecessor. 'Zig Zag' features thumping beats, sweet synth licks, a booming sub bassline, captivating strings and that hypnotic & jacking house vibe that fans of Dennis Ferrer will find unmissable. Sonar Kollektiv's Roland Appel provides the remix, a trippier more psychedelic mix that adds really freaked out sound design into the sauce and stirs nicely.(FR096)HOUSE-10/22/07-UK

JUSTIN HARRIS
DEFBROWS *JACOB LONDON* (BAKER STREET) 12  - 107299

MARTIN BUTTRICH
HUNTER (COCOON) 12  - 107338
Martin Buttrich is truly a phenomenon. Since 1995, he's produced / engineered and remixed for various artists including Loco Dice, Timo Maas, Mousse T, Depeche Mode and many more. Despite only releasing 7 of his own productions, Martins name carries a lot of weight as those productions have ALL been massive, especially his Planet E release 'Full Clip'. Here Martin brings his unique sense of groove and top not production skills to the Cocoon imprint and drops the evil 'Hunter' and tough and funky 'Haunting'. 'Hunter' features a slick and quite infectious synth hook that instantly captures your ears and starts infiltrating your ass. There are nasty and quite psychedelic oscillating pads, gruny bass and deep shuffling minimal beats rounding off this sick production. After a string of sell out DJ dates and critically acclaimed releases, big things are expected for DJ Spen's latest offering. 'Sexy Dancer (Do That Sexy Dance)' is, as Spen himself ndicates, a break from what you might expect from the Soul man. The original is so tech-infused it's boderline techno; a driving track, with a tough kick, fizzing hi-hats and an industrial feel, reinforced by a repetitive and forceful vocal. The Tommy and Spen Mix moves into slightly more familiar territory, with a bouncin' bassline, juicy pads and energetic keys, while still mainaining the dynamic tempo of the original.(CODE014)HOUSE-10/22/07-UK

The boys from Kollektiv Turmstrasse offer up another superb EP in the deep tech house variety. Warm pads, deep bass, and lots of other lil bits that make this a firm crossover amongst progressive types, as well as deeper techno heads. JONA
SWAMP EP (FUMAKILLA) 12  - 107362
This new Fumakilla is top notch! Shuffly and mental, as well as an absolute floor rocker! Perfect for the warm up hours. LAWRENCE
PLACE TO BE *DANIEL STEFANIK* (LIEBE DETAIL SPEZIAL) 12  - 107363
Lawrence had a hit with this original of this way back on Liebe Detail #10. You may remember it as it was a split with Agaric? Anyways, Liebe Detail have put together a couple remixes here. The first one from Daniel Stefanik, who takes the cut into deep bass territory waking it had to resist for the lovers of the mental stuff. On the flip, Geiger is working under his Nass guise, which you may recall his doing a remix under than name on Kindisch for Raz O'hara's massive one from the late spring called "Whitmey Na". Anyhow, he does a bang up job again with this one making it shuffly and adding lots of really cool tweaks and FX with most of the original samples.(LDS004)TECH HOUSE-10/22/07-GE

MICHAL HO
TAKE AWAY *JONA/RHADOO* (TUNING SPORK) 12  - 107365

MARCELLA
WHOS YOUR NANNY (TERMINAL 4) 12  - 107025
Marcella struck it big last year with 'Stabbing Sally' which originally came out on Terminal 4 before getting picked up by Royal Flush and eventually Renaissance. Here back on Terminal 4, Marcella drops the next chapter in what we hope is a long string of releases. The 'Ravin Mad' mix is a monstrous Herve styled number with booming bass blasts, jacking beats, off the wall synth action, trippy vocal bits and immense dancefloor pressure. It builds into a frenzy during the drop and kicks back in like a mule kick. Both other mixes on this plate have that extra large fidgety sound that is devistating on all dancefloors. Early support on this tune coming from a wide variety of dj's including Rene Amesz, Laidback Luke, Matt Darey and Audiojack to name a few.(TERM011)HOUSE-10/22/07-NL

POSH SWAG (URBAN TORQUE) 12  - 107047
'Posh Swag' is a rich and astutely composed piece of music with a brilliantly distinct oddness to it, it's far from run of the mill and quite deep and techy. It has a lazy but quite funky drive to it with heavily effected deep synth riffs and a old school Terry Francis / Mastik Soul vibe.(URTR038)TECH HOUSE-10/22/07-UK

Crosstown Rebels regular Frankie Flowerz turns up the heat for Hypercolour with 'Sweet Dreams', a psychedelic analog trip of dirty techno, trance, electro, house and just about every other genre you could toss into a paragraph. The bassline is thick and feels like a real old school Moog or Juno line and provides the perfect push for Frankie's twisted melodic freakshow that constantly switches up during this very cool tune. Terry Hunter's recent smash hit "Wonderful" just got bigger with remixes from the inimitable Kenny Dope. Kenny provides both a vocal and instrumental on this plate and we have to say, they're fucking bad ass. Terisa Griffin's vocals are killer over Kenny's nasty beats on the vocal mix and the bassline is as funky as they come. MELON
GOOD TIMES ILL NEVER FORGET (RATIO) 12  - 107000
This sounds a lot like Dennis Ferrer / Ame material with a slightly more techno influenced edge and we're loving it. It features beautiful sustained and quite hypnotic pads, slick live percussion driving beats and a moody emotional subterranean vibe.(RTS001)HOUSE-10/15/07-NL

TOM MANGAN

CURSES
HUNGRY FOR LOVE (INSTITUBES) 12  - 107169
Straight outta Brookly, comes Curses aka Drop The Lime and this nasty three track ep of grimey Nu Rave and slick futuristic retro garage. The title cut 'Hungry For Love' is getting smashed daily by Mr Oizo and Sebastian and features screaming synth riffs, a barrage of filthy beats and powerful dirty bass. 'This Is The Way' comes in two mixes, the first borrows lots of retro drums and sounds including some beats and bass from M.A.R.R.S. 'Pump Up The Volume' and cleverly pastes it back together to form something fresh and quite forward thinking. The remix of this gets crazy on a grimey tip with huge ragga bass and broken beats.(INS12013)NU RAVE-10/15/07-FR

AVUS
BOUTE DIABOLIQUE (STOLEN MOMENTS) 12  - 107271

MICHAEL KAISER & KILLABEATZ
EMERGENCY (PARADISE) 12  - 106574
Michael Kaiser & Killabeatz retool Foreigner's rock anthem 'Emergency' into a dancefloor bomb. Three mixes on this platter, the first is a slightly filtered and quite massive electro house stomper with that unmissable part of the chorus from the original laced in. The 'Dirty' mix delivers as promised, a filthy electro funk mix laced with bigger synth and drum action. Finally the 'Club' mix has more of a crossover commercial feel.(PARADISE54)HOUSE- 9/17/07-FR

MIJK VAN DIJK PR MICROGLOBE
HIGH ON HOPE *MAZI & DURIEZ* (BRIQUE ROUGE) 12  - 107094
For over one decade, Mijk Van Dijk has been a player on the forefront of the electronic dance scene. His productions have rocked the hard techno, trance, minimal house and deep house scenes. Here for his first outing on Brique Rouge Mijk drops an epic slice of Underground Resistance styled deep techno meets house with brilliant key riffs that get jazzy very much in the Rolando style, slick drum editing, warped acidic bass and epic melodies giving the track a great uplifting vibe. By far the coolest shit we've heard on Brique Rouge in a LONG TIME. Mazi & David Duriez team up for the remix, a slick retro acid house fuelled rub with great 303 and 909 action, 'Strings Of Life' styled strings and dope driving beats.(BR065)HOUSE-10/15/07-FR

ABE DUQUE
FOLLOWING CONDITIONS (INTNL DEEJAY GIGOLO) 12  - 107171
The two sizzling cuts on this release are taken from Abe's much lauded recent CD album 'When The Fever Breaks'. They have not seen the light of day on vinyl and are both deep, dark and quite soulful house cuts with nice touches of acid and much techno flair.(GIGOLO215)ACID HOUSE-10/15/07-GE

JOYFUL NOISE

ALEX ATTIAS
HELP ME *MITSU* (COMPOST) 12  - 78037
Help Me in its original form is a bluesy, soul track and features Colonel Red on vocals. Remixes come courtesy of Alex himself under his Freedom Soundz monniker and Dj Mitsu. Both of their mixes add more dancefloor punch, Mitsu in the form of a deeper soulful house rub and Freedom Sounds in the form of a nu jazz romp. REPRESSED!(COMP173)HOUSE-11/14/04-GE

SIOUXSIE
INTO A SWAN *WEATHERALL/MEKON* (UNIVERSAL) 12  - 106951
Andrew Weatherall is a god when it comes to funking up the remix, especially here where he drops the low slung sleazy electro (breakbeat) funk for Siouxie Sioux's 'Into A Swan'. The bass on this mix is insane and very Aphex Twin styled. On the flip you'll find Mekon (Wall Of Sound) getting all old school on the mix, tearing out the vocal with nasty vocoded effects and filthy breakbeats.(1742058)HOUSE-10/15/07-UK

KLEMENT BONELLI, NICK & DANNY
VICTIM OF LOVE (KROME) 12  - 107176
Energetic sexy peaktime house gear from Nick & Danny Chatelain (NRK/Bambossa/Honchos) and Klement Bonelli. The long mix features a sensual spoken word female vocal from Dragonfly (Stealth Records), old school juno bass and a wicked Tenaglia vibe. The original mix is a powerful cut with incessant hard hitting stabs and some huge building over the top moments. This mix has been getting much run courtesy of Harry Choo Choo Romero, Roger Sanchez and David Vendetta.(KR02)HOUSE-10/15/07-FR

MOHO ALLSTARS FT SOLARA
LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT (MOREHOUSE) 12  - 107178
Big funky disco fuelled uplifting garage-flavored gear which we'll let some of the feedback do the talking for: Tony Humphries "Dropped it in Milan and it blew the roof off", Roger S "I love it. I'm rocking this in my sets & on my radio show, Keep em' comin",  Dennis Ferrer "The Soulectro mix works really well indeed, I dropped it this past weekend", Dj Spen "Absolutely love it. its got a positive messege & its crankin".(MHR0027)HOUSE-10/15/07-FR

DINO LENNY
COCA LOCA (KONTOR) 12  - 107240
BIG BIG tune here from Mr Dino Lenny. 'Coca Loca' is a dementedly dark warped slice of drugged up electro house gear that features a haunting heavily effected whispered vocal, bouncy synth riffs, a low slung 808 bell, the effervescent sound of a can of coke opening up and seriously twisted touches of grunting/screaming. The synths drop in pitch adding to the dementia of this awesome tune.(KONTOR639)HOUSE-10/15/07-GE

FABRICE LIG
X SLAVES (VERSATILE) 12  - 107254
Fabrice Lig with a nice dose of Neo-Detroit house influenced stuff for the Versatile label out of France. This one lies somewhere between Moodymann and Metro Area. On the flip, things get freaky disco on us and funks the night away. And to close, a nice deeeeep disco influenced peak hour jam. Nice to see Fab still in the game.(VER055)HOUSE-10/15/07-GE

RAUDIVE
UNTITLED (WE ARE) 10  - 107274
Raudive aka Oliver Ho returns after his recent (and killer) release for Poker Flat to help the We Are imprint celebrate reaching their 10th milestone. TUGG / FELIX DICKINSON
GETTING HIGH/SMOKELESS MACHINE (CYNIC) 12  - 107291
Cynic is one of those little labels that many people overlook but have consistently been putting out killer tunes. Doc Martin is a big fan of the imprint and still plays many of their releases (especially the first release from Foolish & Sly). Here we are treated to two deep dark underground killers, the first from Tugg whose productions have been getting some major attention and whose previous efforts include drummiing for Faze Action, Basement Jaxx, Lady Soverign and Kano. Here Tugg unleashes the dirty acid funk reminiscent of RZ material with a definite nod to Trax with a more modern vibe. Felix Dickinson on the flip drops 'Smokeless Machine', a squelchy monster of a track with bongos flying in and out the mix and proper 303 madness.(CY006)HOUSE-10/15/07-UK

BUZZIN FLY
VOL 4 REMIXES *PROMMER* (BUZZIN FLY) 12  - 107028
Two outstanding tunes from Ben Watt's recent 'Buzzin Fly Vol 4' mix compilation get reworked into epic journeys courtesy of Christian Prommer and Spencer Parker. First up Christian Prommer reworks Pedro Madeira's 'Long Shadows'. We don't know quite what Christian Prommer is on these days but we'd like some of whatever it is. His remixes have been impeccible (Check his recent Wagon Cookin remixes on Compost HOLY SHEEPSHIT!). Here Christian delivers a mix that fits perfectly with Ame's "Rej" with a touch of Isolee's "Beau Mot Plage", deeply hypnotic, stunningly beautiful and quite funky. On the flip Spencer Parker turns in a bumping remix of Martin Brodin's "Freaky Bleepy", very much on the Justin Martin / Dirtybird deep jacking tip.(030BUZZ)HOUSE-10/15/07-UK

SOLOMUN
SAMBADA EP (DESSOUS) 12  - 107044
Here comes a beautiful tech house number from Solomun. His stuff on the DIYnamic label were big for us around here, so this one for Dessous should be no exception. The sound for this one would be like if you crossed Steve Bug with Locodice. Bouncy, and pretty, yet slightly heady.(DESSOUS074)TECH HOUSE-10/08/07-GE

GRUMMICH PETER
FRESH AIR FOR FRESH PEOPLE (KARLOFF) 12  - 107085

HUNTEMANN & WINTER
CRS / DRP (CONFUSED) 12  - 107214
Oliver Huntemann & Andres Winter take back over the production reigns after the Slovenian takeover of Confused (Umek & I Turk). The duo drop two slick deep dark electro tinged stripped down tunes on the dirty hypnotic and growling tip. 'CRS' the a side features slick jacking minimal shuffling beats backed by crisp hats, killer arpeggios and impressive sonic landscapes. 'DRP' on the flip is a bit deeper and features sustained growling filthy bass, trippy bits of synth elements and sparse beats resulting in something quite funky and very evil.(CON069)MINIMAL TECHNO-10/15/07-GE

BASTIAN HEERHORST
MARATHON *TOCADISCO/BUTCH* (ENVY MY MUSIC) 12  - 107218
Bastian Heerhorst is a name you'll be seeing a lot more of in the near future. His 'Marathon' is a huge slab of funky peak time electro house with nice touches of disco sounding like a mixture of Eric Prydz and Great Stuff / Craft material. Tocadisco provides a killer remix as does Butch (not surprisingly Craft / Great Stuff producer).(EMMR002)HOUSE-10/15/07-GE

RADIO SLAVE
NO SLEEP *PT 3* (REKIDS) 12  - 107234

Licensed from our very own Maya imprint here, Nick & Danny Chatelain's "Me Resuelve" gets two fresh makeovers on the Bambossa imprint. First up is Harry Choo Choo Romero who had been a huge supporter of the track in the first place. He goes big on his remix, beefing up the beats and kicking the funk into the cut. DIRTY 30
DISCO APOCALYPTO (IM A CLICHE) 12  - 106711
Dirty 30 first popped up on our radar screen on Truffle Music which saw much support from Brennan Green (who remixed the project), Idjut Boys, Dj Spun, Ben Cook and a slew of other twisted disco junkies. Here with 'Disco Apocalypto' they've already seen support from Simian Mobile Disco who say 'the best record we've heard in ages', Joakim, Tim Sweeney and Francois K. It's a funking, grinding slice of twisted disco meets acid house reminiscent of Dj Harvey's remix of Extended Family's "Ulysses". Super cool shit!(CLICHE010)DISCO- 9/27/07-FR

SECRETSUNDAZE VOL 1 SAMPLER
V/A *TWO ARMADILLOS/KISSOGRAM* (SECRETSUNDAZE) 12  - 106901
Secretsundaze is one of the UK's best running Sunday afternoon parties and this release is a taste of the kind of deep grooving tunes that have made the party a six years plus success. First up are Two Armadillos (Dessous) dropping 'Warriors', a track which epitomises the vibe of the club, deep and soulful and quite electronic and chill. This would sit perfectly on Dessous, or Liebe Detail or Moon Harbour or even Mobilee. On the flip you'll find a James Priestly & Dan Berkson remix of Kissogram's 'My Best Friend Is A Seahorse' a dubby Rhythm & Sound flavored cut currently making big waves for Isolee. SWEET N CANDY
47 PANCAKES & 1 JOINT EP (EINMALEINS) 12  - 106932
Sweet N Candy has always been a favorite around these parts. Minimal that has a bit more going on it it, but I supposed that would be semi-maximal? Ahem... anyways. Bumpity basslines and radmon clickyness with some extra edits to go with the grooves. Getting lots of airplay from Camea, Mike Shannon and Mike Monday, among many others.(EINS025)TECH HOUSE-10/01/07-GE

BOOKA SHADE
NUMBERS / ESTORIL (K7) 12  - 107150
Booka Shade has the honor of mixing K7's next Dj Kicks compilation. Here we have a taste from what's to come, a track of his own which will be featured on the CD but unlikely make it to the LP vinyl companion. 'Numbers' is a typically polished production from Booka, a sublime slo mo groover which has been definitely dipping in the MDMA powder. There's the extended vocal mix of number which is a hypnotic slice of sophistocated tech-soul. 'Estoril' is magically reminiscent of Underworld at their most experimental and rhythmic. Rounding off this awesome package is the extended club mix of 'Numbers' which borrows heavily from the legacy of Detroits founders like Derrick May and Juan Atkins.(K7222)HOUSE-10/15/07-GE

PHUTURE
RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE *TIEFSCHW (STRICTLY RHYTHM) 12  - 107168
Apparently inspired by digging through their old records when compiling their 'Strictly Tiefschwarz' mix, the Berlin boys have delivered an exceptional remix of Phuture's "Rise From Your Grave". Already one of the more modern sounding records from Strictly RhythmÆs vast back catalogue, Ali and Basti have tweaked, cut, blended, and filtered to perfection. The wobbling baseline sets the tracks undulating tone from the start, and is joined by sharp claps and crisp hi-hats to give it an exceptionally polished feel. Fans of the original will be happy to know that the off key synths still feature heavily, while the unmistakable, aggressive vocal and harsh keys hit you late on to complete the ensemble and add to the records sinister ambience.(SR12645)HOUSE-10/15/07-UK

Fans of Pilooski & the Dirty Edit series or the Mindless Boogie series take note, the Thumbs Aloft imprint from the UK is about to provide you with more tasty rare edits to feed the need. The ep kicks off with a track worth the price of admission "Stick Around", a Wings (yes Paul McCartney Wings) edit that is pure party funk. This tune has been a favorite of Tom Middleton, Chris Duckenfield and Joey Negro. It┤s a six minute slab of mop top shaking Balearic discofunk with more kazoos, saxes and crazy synth twiddles than your average boozed up busking session. We┤re reliably informed that even been informed that even one-legged models think it rocks. Deeper and gritty minimal tech-house straight from berlin. Think REKORDER meets JEFF SAMUEL and you would be close(KK017)MINIMAL HOUSE- 5/29/07-GE

RAZ OHARA
WHITMEY NA  *GEIGER/NASS* (KINDISCH) 12  - 104769
Kindisch first expolded onto the scene with Jay Haze's now classic "Soul in a Bottle" and havent let up since! And, if you werent aware, they are the child label of GET PHYSICAL. This release is now the 7th release, and quite possibly the best one yet! The original is an almost beatless tune with a dreamy deep vocal. To remix it, the crew got Geiger (aka Nass) to do an absolutely GORGEOUS late night pure techno classic! The way the vocals are used on his mix are incredible. Sounds like he was going for an old FINGERS/OWENS kind of feel. DEEEEP pads and shimmering ride cymbals make this one magical in the late hours, and also great for open air. And, just in case you arent feeling the vocal, they kindly provided an instrumental of the Geiger remix as well.(KD007)HOUSE- 6/11/07-GE

RENE ET GASTON
MERLUCHE IDEALS EP (ARTLESS) 12  - 105686
Heres a welcome repress! The good folks at Artless went and busted out an old highlight from the Rene et Gaston archives. You might recall one of the sides from Kevin Sauderson's "Transmissions From Deep Space" X-mix from K7. This track wasnt very widely released back then so repressing it was MORE than a good idea! It almost sounds better today than it did  then! On the flip, another familliar Rene et Gaston tune, though I cannot quite place it's origin. But its a classic example of just how hot these guys can get/have been.(ARTLES2198)HOUSE- 7/23/07-GE

ROBERT BABICZ
PING PONG IN THE MOONLIGHT (AUDIOMATIQUE) 12  - 106763
Deep, pumpin, and even a bit spooky are some of the words we would use to describe this new one from Rob Acid. Even contains that signature Robert Babicz cruch that he seems to use rather often. On the flip, things get a bit "Energy Flash" with some deeper pads and a touch of acid, of course!(AM025)TECH HOUSE- 9/24/07-GE

SUPER FLU
MOMRATZN (TRAUM SCHALLPLATTEN) 12  - 106974
Super Flu do it again! More deep and dirty techy neo trance stuffs. Very much remeniscent of the Extrawelt stuff around the time their Border Community EP came out. This one sounds like it should be on Border Community, actually. Really REALLY great stuff here. If your a fan of Nathan Fake or James Holden, you should be picking this up.(TRAUMV91)TECH HOUSE-10/01/07-GE

MOLE / CABANNE / ANTISLASH
KATAPULT VOL 3 SAMPLER 1 (KARAT) 12  - 107033
Star studdded cast of characters here! Youve got The Mole, Cabanne, Antislash, and a Les Cerveaux Lents, which is a collab between Ark & Mika. All 4 cuts are bouncy, fun and sick.(KARAT31)TECH HOUSE-10/08/07-GE

DAVE HUGHES
LETS DO IT (PALETTE) 12  - 107050
Heres a monster for ya! Dave Hughes works as a sound engineer in L.A. and packs a whollop of production techniques into his debut EP for John Tejada's Palette recordings. The A-side is a dirty beast of a percussive minimal jam, while ending on a pretty note with Detroity chord stabs. On the flip, things get a bit scarier and darker but still has the funk you were egtting from the A-side. Solid stuff that rocks on a good soundsystem.(PALETTE047)TECH HOUSE-10/08/07-GE

DJ DLG & LAIDBACK LUKE
AMBITION *MASHTRONIC* (EYEZCREAM) 12  - 107179
Laidback Luke has been on a tear, killing it each cut on this second phase of his production career. Here with Dj DLG Luke creates a furious electro house stomper with a catchy vocoded part and stomping beats and uplifting synth action. This is very Swedish Maffia styled gear for sure. Mixes come from Tony Senghore & Livyo, Bedrocks' Mashtronic and DLG who goes solo for one mix.(ECR019)ELECTRO HOUSE-10/15/07-FR

PARALLEL 9 *STEVE RACHMAD*
TECHNIQUE EP (ARTLESS) 12  - 107236
Another more than welcome techno classic re-issue from the Artless label out of Berlin. This time, they chose a Steve Rachmad classic from 1997 called "Technique". Deep and Detroity and pumpin. Cross G-man with Basic Channel and the more direct side of Rob Hood and youve got yourself a ball game!(ART2197)TECH HOUSE-10/15/07-GE

TOM CLARK
PT 2 SERVICE STATION RMXS (HIGHGRADE) 12  - 107245

KALABRESE
RUMPELZIRKUS PT 2 (STATTMUSIK) 12  - 104664
Pt 2 of selections from Kalabrese full length cd "Rumpelzirkus". All cuts are deep off-the-beatn-path house that sounds like MATHEW HERBERT and ARK getting it on in the attic of a very strange and secluded house.... or something like that.(STATT018)MINIMAL HOUSE- 6/04/07-GE

GIORGOS GATZIGRISTOS
NEW WORLD ORDER (K2) 12  - 104756
This guys stuff just keeps getting better and better! For his 3rd release for Kompakt sublabel K2, Mr Gatzigristos gets even MORE mental than previous with a thick bassline and all kinda of trippy things going on. But this has more drive than usual. Think DAN BELL meets PACO OSUNA and youre about there. On the flip, things get more mental and housier.(K227)MINIMAL TECHNO- 6/11/07-GE

SARAH GOLDFARB
CRASHED BY EP (TREIBSTOFF) 12  - 104764
Sarah Goldfarb has been in the game for a bit now making dark and minimal stuff that has pleased across the board. This newest one for Treibstoff might be the best thing he's dont yet. Dark, trippy, and did we mention dark? But, yes, there is still punch in there. Trippy as hell vocals dripping with so much FX it sounds like a synth. On the flip things get Sleeparchive-ish, Goldfarb style! Definitely a hot release from an already very reliable producer!(TREIB072)MINIMAL TECHNO- 6/11/07-GE

GARNICA
HIELO SOBRE ARENA EP *MATZAK* (GALATIKA) 12  - 105054
On the A-side, Rafael Garnica gives us a deeper and moody side of minimal techno thats primed and ready for the late (or early) hours. Solid kicks, with nice sounds to round out the percussion, and deeper chords stabs are the name of the game here. On the flip, Matzak does his thing on a hypno house cut thats got all the right elements. If youre into Rekorder or Kaliber, then youll want to check this out.(GLK012)TECHNO- 6/25/07-GE

ULYSSE / TOUANE
SOMETIMES / CHAMBER (LIEBE DETAIL) 12  - 106223
Liebe Detail just cannot be stopped right now! Like all previous releases for the label, this one is a split artist release. On the A-side, its Frence based Ulysse with a dark rumbler of a groovy tech house jam thats sure to be a staple in the sets of Ricardo Villalobos, Josh Wink or Terry Francis. On the flip, Touane from Trenton Records fame gives quite the deep & pretty melodic late night groover.(LIEBE019)TECH HOUSE- 8/27/07-GE

ATTIAS
HIRO / DOMINO (REINCARNATION) 12  - 107001
Play this one right after the Melon from this week, they perfectly compliment each other. Super deep, jacking and hypnotic Ame / Ferrer styled house with a techy edge. Currenly getting much love from Dj Deep, Chateau Flight and Convextion.(R002)HOUSE-10/15/07-NL
