This will be the biggest list I have ever sent out, as there are a lot of records available for you to ask about, plus I added the breaks & Sole Unlimited sections to this.  Please get your requests in to us asap, asking for records in advance makes sure we have what you are looking for.  We’ve had a lot of you guys buying vinyl again, and we want to make sure that we order enough to satisfy everyone!  We always want to be there for your needs!

Here are the three lists:

A.  The releases on the main list (the first part) are STRONG and there are some titles listed that we missed out on last week which are going to be big this fall - check out the Larry Tee, the latest Royal Flush (Dualton with Misha Moor Mixes), that killer beastie boys mix of intergalactic, the 2nd Joey Youngman is CRAZY.,  See, some of you might not like the vocal on the Joey so we won’t be getting a lot and you’ll have to ask for it!  There are still some very nice deeper releases, a lot are at the bottom of the house section.  The DNB is filled with some good restocks and some hard to find promos – make sure you check that out because they didn’t go out as pre-order.  There are also some good progressive releases this week!

B. Breaks.  We are doing an order from our special breaks distributor. This is listed right after the dubstep as well as at http://www.poo-bas.com/pre-order/breaks_10-04-07.htm Requests are due Sunday by noon and there is a LOT of good stuff there including domestics.

C. Frankie Vega’s Sole Unlimited list is listed at the very bottom or at  http://www.poo-bas.com/pre-order/sole_10-03-07.htm with sound samples!  Do check this list out because there are some killer techno and electrohouse records!  Requests are due back Sunday by noon.

Get your requests in by Sunday September the 30th.  If you are going through the main list, any time on Sunday is fine… but the breaks and sole list are getting turned in at noon on Sunday.

PS PROJECT *DJ SNEAK & P WEEKS
AROUND VILLEJUIF (ROBSOUL) 12  - 106864
Dj Sneak & Phil Weeks are back together for a funky house feast on the Robsoul label. 'Around Villejuif' is a deep jacking tune with touches of filtering, plenty of drum funky and clever programming and a nasty touch of analog bumping synth bass. The second mix of this tune features more jacking funk and less filtering and adds some slick breakdown and start/stop action. On the flip 'Gods House' does borrow a few samples from the DHS classic but works them in such a deep and funky way it's just irresistable. Getting much props from Derrick Carter and Brett Johnson.(ROBSOUL57)HOUSE-10/01/07-FR

SOUL MIGRANTZ
CALLING CHICAGO (A SECOND SMELL) 12  - 106325
Calling Chicago definitely pays hommage to one old school Chicago master, namely Marshall Jefferson from whom the track borrows many production / sound elements. It features a cool spoken word vocal reminiscent of "Mushrooms", pushing stabs ala "Move Your Body" and funky swinging beats.(ASS004)HOUSE-10/01/07-BE

JUSTICE
DANCE *LTD COLLECTOR EDITION* (BECAUSE) 12  - 106858
LIMITED COLLECTORS EDITION! Featuring a mix featured nowhere else and definitely worth the price of admission for this 12". Jackson (Jackson & His Computer Band) kills, devistates, destroys this cut, HOLY CRAP his mix is by far the baddest and the best (even better than the original). The "Live" version along with MSTRKRFT & Alan Braxe & Fred Falke appear on this collectors version.(BEC5772153)TECHNO-10/01/07-FR

STEVE BUG & CLE
SILICON BALLET EP (POKER FLAT) 12  - 106936
Steve Bug & Cle team up for an outing on Mr Bug's own Poker Flat imprint. This one is a classic example of the Poker Flat sound in relation to more housey doings. Warm chords with shuffly percussion and an energy that just builds and builds creating tension as well as release. Solid work!(PFR88)TECH HOUSE-10/01/07-GE

DJ YELLOW
FOREVER AND NEVER MORE (SLIP N SLIDE) 12  - 106853
DJ YELLOW has always had his finger on the pulse thus encouraging him to release the first, "Bossa Tres Jazz" tracks on Yellow Productions label. He signed artists like Salome De Bahia and has worked with the likes of Masters At Work, Dj Gregory and Martin Solveig to name but a few. Here for Slip N Slide Dj Yellow drops a sleek and quite hypnotic deep house number that definitely borrows some of that Dj Gregory haunting, entrancing synth action. David Alvarado, who we're quite fond of and haven't seen anything from in quite some time turns in a stunning deep house mix that will go down big time with Ferrer / Ame fans and rounding off the package is a mix from Phillip Charles (Ovum). Excellent well rounded package.(SLIP235)HOUSE-10/01/07-FR

STYLE OF EYE
H BOMB *DAHLBACK* (PICKADOLL) 12  - 106915
Style Of Eye drops the aptly titled 'H Bomb' for Pickadoll, a cut that fuses bleepy synth freak outs with deep jacking beats and a dirty analog undulating bassline. John Dahlback provides the remix, an equally jacking bomb of a cut that Steve Bug has been hammering. As an additional bonys on this 12" you also get 'Hysster' another forray into the darker more menacing side of Style of Eye's production.(PICK027)HOUSE-10/01/07-GE

CIREZ D VS AXWELL
GALACTIC TIGER (WHITE) 12  - 106514
LIMITED ONE OFF PRESSING...Two heavyweights join forces on this bomb of a tune. 'Galactic Tiger' is a naughty number seeing Axwell taking samples from Beastie Boy's 'Intergalactic' and sprinkling them into parts of the groove from Cirez D's bomb, 'Tiger Style'. The result, one killer naughty bomb which won't be around for long.(GALACTIC1)HOUSE-10/01/07-UK

FUNKY GREEN DOGS
REACH FOR ME *TV ROCK & DIRTY (CR2) 12  - 106515

TOLFREY & SYLVESTER
HEADQUARTERS *VONSTROKE* (LEFTROOM) 12  - 106697
Next up on Leftroom Limited is a release from Leftroom head honcho Matt Tolfrey, and his two partners in crime, B-Pole and Craig Sylvester. 'Enter The Mad Hat' track begins quietly and then slowly the squelches and wobbles are interwoven in a typical Tolfrey fashion. From that an echoing chant is heard and a twisted melody line takes over and carries the track through with a bouncy and instant groove until everything stops and fades away. A rising and falling fucked up siren tone then takes charge of the onslaught. Pure tripped out dirty madness!! The beginning of 'Shakil' sounds like the bastard child of Plastikman's 'Spastik' and in turn gets remixed by Claude Vonstroke who delivers a wicked remix that gets all Isolee on the quirky synth riffs and effects. Leftroom are doing it at the moment for sure!!(LEFTLTD008)HOUSE-10/01/07-UK

BOYS NOIZE
OI OI OI, THE ALBUM *DP* (BOYS NOIZE) DP  - 106931
AT LONG LAST, Boys Noize come correct with a full length for all the kiddies to freak out over! Already getting massive attention for their numerous massive singles and remixes, this album should rocket them into extreme stardom. Well, for dance music anyways. Expect plenty of cut up beats, spazed out synths, and absolutely NASTY basslines. Oi, oi, oi indeed!!(BNR014LP)NU RAVE-10/01/07-GE

MIDNIGHT CIRCUS
HOUSE & GARAGE *JOEY YOUNGMAN* (DAMAG) 12  - 106945
Second slice of soulful garage-ish styled house gear courtesy of Joey Youngman this week. 'House & Garage' features a soulful R&B inspired vocal laced into Joey's retro Nice & Ripe / AM:PM styled soulful house grooves.(DGSH002)HOUSE-10/01/07-UK

BRITNEY SPEARS
GIMME MORE / COLD AS FIRE (WHITE) 12  - 106966
More energetic than her MTV VMA performance and less offensive than her coochie shot coming out of the car. Say what you want about her personal life, because Timbaland put his stamp on the debut single 'Gimme More' and this ep features SIX cuts from the album. Naughty and in limited supply. Tracklisting: 'Gimme More', 'Everybody (featuring an Eurythmics sample)', 'Cold As Fire', 'Got Me High', 'Been A While' and 'Your'.(BRITEP01)POP DANCE-10/01/07-UK

BIBLIOTEK FT KADENZ
GETTING STARTED *J YOUNGMAN* (VIB) 12  - 106971
Joey Youngman gets soulful and garage-ish on his mix of Bibliotek's 'Getting Started'. It sounds like Inland Knights mixed up with a bit of MJ Cole styled garage with skipping shuffling beats, a commanding vocal performance from Kadenz, deep jacking bass and hard hitting synth stabs.(VIBER001)HOUSE-10/01/07-UK

TURBOFUNK
GOTTA MOVE *LIFELIKE/FONZERELL (DATA) 12  - 106986
The French producer behind Turbofunk is no stranger to success, having remixed for Justin Timberlake and Jamelia, 'Gotta Move' is getting support from the likes of Pete Tong, Judge Jules and Dave Pearce, 'Gotta Move' covers 80's Italian group 'Peter Jacques Band'. Turbofunk's version loops the catchy vocal over an irresistible bassline, to create another dancefloor smash. Remixes from Chris Lifelike, Fonzerelli and Trent Cantrelle & Chris Cox.(DATA165T)HOUSE-10/01/07-UK

MINDLESS BOOGIE
MORNING DEW *PRINS THOMAS* (MINDLESS B 12  - 106647
The Mindless Boogie imprint returns with FOUR slick edits from Prins Thomas who sidesteps the obvious and goes digging deep for these cuts. From psychedelic rock to soul and funk Prins Thomas splices and dices and adds his serious disco funk touch to the sauce creating uber-hip dancefloor movers for the more discerning audiences.(MINDLESS08)EDIT-10/01/07-BE

FUTURE BEAT INVESTIGATORS
DUK *DIXON* (RAW FUSION) 12  - 106856
Sonar Kollektiv's Future Beat Investigators drop this next slab of raw jacking deep house for Raw Fusion. "Duk" sounds like a mixture of retro Traxx acid house, Chain Reaction material and the deep electronic soulful house sound of recent Sonar Kollektive releases. Very chic and funky gear. Fellow label producer Dixon provides the remix, a mix with a bit more bump in the trunk putting the acid line more upfront in the mix. A must for fans of the RZ series!(RAF033)HOUSE-10/01/07-FR

RALPH SLIWINSKI
MAGGIZAHN (HARTCHEF DISCOS) 12  - 106291
Heavy Trentemoller vibe on the title cut on this dope ep from Morris Audio's Ralph Sliwinski. It features tough crunchy and quite funky and soulful grooves with dirty booming bottom end, rugged swinging beats, a nice vocal part and twisted bits of noise, crackles and synths. 'That's In My Brain' has a dope Green Velvet vibe and is quite funky and twisted as well.(HCF13)HOUSE-10/01/07-GE

GLENN UNDERGROUND
JIVE ASSING/MANZANA DE MI VIDA (NEED 2 SO) 12  - 106326
On this fifth quality House Music release, Need2Soul sollicits the highly talented skills of Chicagos very Own Glenn Underground. As expected, GU delivers quality in every sense of the word. This three track instrumental project features the slick, cutting edge grooves of "Jive Assing" (main mix + dub), as well as a gorgeous musical painting in the form of "Manzana De Mi Vida". Showcasing Glenn's signature sound & stylings, "Jive Assing" (Main Mix) is a flawless dancefloor groove with slick jazzy musical journey into moody waters with great percussion, incredible live elements and of course Glenn's patent keys. The Dub version boasts a slightly tweaked sonic experience, with thicker percussive layers, a tougher kick and one bad ass bassline. The lush "Manzana De Mi Vida" is a fine lesson in avant-garde Dance Music, featuring some some fine work on keyboards, creating a melodious & profoud atmosphere that will set your soul (and soles) on fire.(N2S005)HOUSE-10/01/07-UK

LARRY TEE
LICKY *HERVE/LEGER* (HOLON) 12  - 106782
God damn Herve is on a tear, he's following in the footsteps of Switch with MASSIVE fidgety bumping house remixes. Here Herve goes bezerk on Larry Tee's 'Licky', working the clever and sleazy vocals into a breaky, booming, heavily edited fidget house groove. The bass is just insane and the beats are huge. Sebastien Leger's mix has more of a sleazy electro vibe about it while Kris Menace goes in a more 80's direction. BACK IN FULL AFTER BLOWING OUT OF HERE MONDAY!(HOLON008)HOUSE- 9/24/07-GE

HOXTON WHORES FT GAVIN LAMPITT
FUSION (WHOREHOUSE) 12  - 106861
The Hoxton Whores might be the busiest outfit in the business. They remix hit records for Data, Ministry and a slew of other imprints, have their own original productions and two labels and on the side turn in a few naughty remixes of todays current hits. Here they team up with Gavin Lampitt and unleash the peak time bomb, "Fusion". It's got a Spanish tribal vibe about it with tough funky percussion, big building beats and a hands in the air breakdown buildup....(WHOREH013)HOUSE-10/01/07-UK

MEAT KATIE & D RAMIREZ
STOP THE REVOLUTION *DUBFIRE* (LOT 49) 12  - 106874
Second set of mixes on this absolutely monster release from Meat Katie & D Ramirez featuring the minimal house meets prog and techno killer from Deep Dish's Dubfire and a filthy breakbeat reworking from 30HZ. This mix features a booming deep undulating dirty bassline, sparse percussion and hard edged grooves that get freaky ala Troy Pierce. Heres a suprise for the Wagon Repair posse. This one is ALL house, baby! And house that feels like it did it 96! Pumpin, shuffly, jazzy at times. Classic shit! A nice throwback to last summers "Dump Truck" by Cobblestone Jazz, or even The Mole's "Jingover".(WAG030)HOUSE-10/01/07-GE

GUI BORATTO
TALES FROM THE LAB (DEFRAG SOUND PROC) 12  - 106976
A return to the more direct side of Gui Boratto, who has been on the fluffy open air tip for a lil while now. This one takes things back to his K2 days with punchy beats and bussing sounds and stabs all around. Perfect sound for the Defrag label. And, don't worry... If youre mostly about the other side of Gui Boratto, then flip it over. The B-side is somewhere in between his 2 main styles. Dark and punchy, but somehow fluffy as well.(DEFRAG23)TECH HOUSE-10/01/07-GE

'You Don't Know' features a great vocal part, deep funky beats, thickly sliced bass and great melodic elements giving the track an uplifting locked on vibe. Gossip's Hott 22 provide a remix on the flip, a soulful more commercial rub and Robbie Rivera turns in a mix on the rugged electro house tip.(SBM034)HOUSE-10/01/07-NL

SEBASTIAN DAVIDS
NIGHTBIRD *MANUEL TUR* (KINKY VINYL) 12  - 106895
The original mix of 'Nightbird' is a moody slice of deep house but for us its all about the Manuel Tur (Freerange) mix on this platter. His mix is a beautifully deep undulating slice of house business reminiscent of Fred Everything's deeper moments with funky round bass, clever sound design & effects and a lulling, swaying deep vibe that just doesn't quit. Getting big props from Justin Martin and Jimpster.(KINK54)HOUSE-10/01/07-NL

DJ YELLOW
NO MORE ENEMIES *DUBFIRE* (DEEP FOCUS) 12  - 106896
'No More Enemies' is one of those tracks that has across the board appeal from house to progressive to techno, tech house, trance headz etc. This cut is an extention of his 'Alienation' series on Poussez and is essential for fans of Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier etc. HUGE, HUGE cavernous grooves on the original mix with bad ass synth freak outs and driving beats. Dubfire has been on a tear recently with original solo cuts and remixes and here drops a killer reworking that kicks up the beats just a touch...(DFC024)TECHNO-10/01/07-NL

UMEK & I TURK
ANXIOUS ON DEMAND (CONFUSED) 12  - 106907
Oliver Huntemann's Confused imprint returns with two killer electro meets techno bangers from Umek & I Turk. The title cut 'Anxious On Demand' is a fierce slice of electronic dance gear with modulating synth bass, tough driving beats and moody, emotional synth work. Big tune for Oxia right now. On the flip, 'Sun Drenched Land' is a more Hacker inspired workout, with tough driving beats, more great synth work and raw dancefloor power(CON068)TECHNO-10/01/07-GE

KALIBER
15 (KALIBER) 12  - 106912
They mysterious Kaliber imprint returns with another stunning ep of deep emotional and funky music. The a side is a big tune for Magda and Oliver Koletzki at the moment and features a killer warped main synth hook, haunting strings / atmospherics and driving jacking beats. On the flip the psychedelic effects are turned up way past 10 and the track builds with frantic nervous energy before dropping like a ton of bricks. Another killer from Kaliber.(KAL015)TECHNO-10/01/07-GE

SWEET N CANDY
47 PANCAKES & 1 JOINT EP (EINMALEINS) 12  - 106932
Sweet N Candy has always been a favorite around these parts. Minimal that has a bit more going on it it, but I supposed that would be semi-maximal? Ahem... anyways. Bumpity basslines and radmon clickyness with some extra edits to go with the grooves. Getting lots of airplay from Camea, Mike Shannon and Mike Monday, among many others.(EINS025)TECH HOUSE-10/01/07-GE

TERRE THAEMLITZ
TERRES NEU WUSS FUSION (MULE MUSIQ) 12  - 106935
The A-side of this one is a classic example of what the rest of the world is used to from Terre Thaemlitz: pure blissed out ambient. On the flipside, Max Mohr from the Playhouse stable delivers a knockout remix that has a feel of Rework or other playhouse artists. Dark basslines and elements from the original thrown in. Excellent work!(MULE019)TECH HOUSE-10/01/07-GE

RIO
RIO *STFU / MICHA MOOR* (TIGER) 12  - 106947
Super large French styled house cut which uses just a touch of the same latin sample Basement Jaxx used for a certain hit of theirs and buries it in a pumping slightly filtered house bomb. STFU & Micha Moor provide some hefty remixes, STFU on the electrohouse tip and Micha Moor for the 'Space' fans out there.(TIGER45R)HOUSE-10/01/07-GE

Edgar Dirksen's "Ghost" has a buzz on it already thanks to plays from Josh Wink. It's a tough funky minimal joint that rides the line between techno and Trentemoller styled minimalism. On the flip 'Thrir' has a similar tough minimal Poker Flat vibe.(WEAVE22)TECHNO-10/01/07-GE

ART BLEEK
ANTICHAMBRE (RUSH HOUR LTD) 12  - 106841
Art Bleek have been producing jazz for years and this is their first forray into the world of deep house and techno. The title cut skirts the line between the two, probably more appealing to super deep house headz with beautiful electronic melodies, deep shuffling beats and a nice touch of jazz to compliment the atmospheric grooves. 'Damaged Language System' on the flip will certainly appeal to deep techno headz with a 303 bassline, cavernous reverb on the Detroit-y bleepy synths and deep minimal beats. Getting support from Dj Rolando, Dj Deep, Dan Curtin and Alex From Tokyo(RHLTD018)TECHNO- 9/27/07-NL

WOJTEK URBANSKI
VIOLENT VIOLIN (COMPOST) 12  - 106859

But wait there's more, a full disco motion remix from Maximilian Skiba which sounds like it came directly from Prins Thomas or Mudd.(COMP268)DISCO-10/01/07-GE

It's got a wicked acid inspired bassline that filters just a bit, slick shuffling beats and layers of synths that play off of the bassline. Next up 'Cosmic Force' draws influences from a variety of sources and will appeal to house, progressive and even cosmic disco fans. Funk D'Void dons his Francois Dubois guise for his remix, a deeper hypnotic journey of dubby effects and sweet melodies.(PUAD004)HOUSE-10/01/07-UK

MARTINEZ
RECONNECTED 3 (RECONNECTED) 12  - 106917
Third installment on Martinez's Re:Connected series provides two more quality rump shaking gems that skirt the line between deep jacking dirty house and the funkier side of the techno spectrum. If you like the filthy and extra large noodlings of Trentemoller, you'll love the A side on this sucker. Extra large club killer. On the flip the vibe is a big more hypnotic, but every bit as dirty and jacking and quite funky too.(RE003)HOUSE-10/01/07-GE

Black Dog turn in an Autechre inspired electronica version that wreaks of funk and old school Warp vibes. Dextro turns in a beautiful melancholic Border Community / James Holden styled mix and rounding off the package are Mo Wax's As One turning in a wickedly deep and funky electro techno meets disco mix.(HERB003)ABSTRACT ELECTRONICA-10/01/07-UK

KABALE UND LIEBE & DANIEL SANC
MUMBLING YEAH (AREAREMOTE) 12  - 106646
From the Remote Area imprint comes this wicked slab of Carl Craig inspired soulful tribal house action. "Mumbling Yeah" begins with a tripped out heavily effected inaudible vocal part and bits of bouncy psychedelic synths and keeps this going until the classic 909 beats drop giving the track a wicked retro Chicago / Planet E vibe. Definitely feeling this one!(AREA001)HOUSE-10/01/07-BE

FUTURE BEAT ALLIANCE
BREATHE IN YOUR FEAR (SPACETALK) 12  - 106648
Following the well received debut from Kaine, Spacetalk returns with Versatile veterans Future Beat Alliance for their sophomore offering. The title cut is the most dancefloor friendly and lifts a sample that sounds suspiciously like it came from Batman Begins and laces the trippy vocal into an epic acidic cosmic disco groove that Lindstrom has been beating with regularity. Two more spaced out balearic cosmic treats round off this excellent second effort from the promising Spacetalk imprint.(ST002T)HOUSE-10/01/07-BE

Sidney Sampson goes ballistic on his mix of Gregor Salto's 'Erasmus'. His mix is by far the hardest hitting on this plate, featuring breaky house beats that are funky as all hell, rugged use of the main synth hook giving it an almost eastern feel with touches of electro and perfect use of the main vocal hook 'Drop To The Beat, I Won't Stop Rocking'. You certainly won't when you hear this ballsy club banger of a mix!(GREX019)HOUSE-10/01/07-NL

'Parplez' is the club killer on this one, gritty and crunchy as hell with dope melodies which juxtapose the darkness nicely. Definitely one for the Great Stuff fans out there. IAN DURY / VISAGE
TRUST IS A MUST / WE MOVE (NYNX) 12  - 106987
Ian Dury 'Trust Is A Must', a killer lp only punk-funk anthem from the sessions that spawned the legendary Spasticus Autisticus. This did appear once on 12" as a very rare UK only promo and now its lovingly remastered for a another go round. WICKED.. Visage 'We Move (dance mix)', possibly the funkiest of the Visage tracks and a big cosmic play for Baldelli. This piece of classic white-boy funk is on a couple of increasingly rare 12s from back in the day but due to lacklustre mastering until now its never really sounded quite as good as it should do.(NYNX4001)EDIT-10/01/07-UK

Carl Craig has an uncanny knack for taking remixes to a higher level, to a place that's inescapably funky and bad ass. He did it recently with his remix of Theo Parrish's "Falling Up" and who can forget the job he did on Cesaria Evora's "Angola". Manuel Tur returns from two BIG releases on the Freerange imprint to team up once again with D Play for their first outing on the Compost Black series. The three tracks hosted on this slab of wax are all warm and quite deep house cuts, laced with soul and a techy touch definitely for fans of the recent offerings from Ferrer etc.(COMP264)HOUSE- 9/24/07-GE

DAJAE & BERNARD BADIE
TONIGHT (TONY) 12  - 106570
Bernard Badie & Dajae's last production on Cajual, 'Train' was an instant floor grabber and quite a big tune. Here they've followed up with another perfect house track entitled 'Tonight', a hot sweaty, soul dripping house track of pure funk. This has a timeless sound and with Dajae's vocals destined for classic status.(TR1007)HOUSE- 9/17/07-FR

REGGY VON OERS
CITRIC (TRAPEZ LTD 058) 12  - 106793
Reggy Von Oers hand delivers a whopper for the Trapez crew. Techy and punchy is the name of the game for this rocker of an EP. Also some very nice warmth from time to time. Flip it over for a nice trip through the deep side with nice clicks and synth washes all around. Perfect early track!(TRAPLTD058)MINIMAL TECHNO- 9/24/07-GE

KAMA & MC GREGOR
INSIDE *PIG & DAN* (ELECTROCHOC) 12  - 106545
After a well deserved summer holiday, Electrochoc is back with a huge electro house number from Kama & Mc Gregor. The original mix is quite a deep tune with slick analog bass, hollow heavily effected synth hits and driving beats. Gino S & Snake Plissken take the track on a deeper trip and Cocoon's Pig & Dan provide a wicked techy ass shaking mix too!(CHOC024)HOUSE- 9/24/07-FR

SINISTER INDUSTRY
MORNING (MADE TO PLAY) 12  - 106774
Here's another WHITE HOT release for Jesse Rose's Made To Play label! The original is a meaty and mean peak hour jam that contains a sample of the Roger Whittaker classic "Morning Please Don't Come" and it's groove lies right around the Tiefschwarz remix of Spektrum's "Kinda New" from a few years back. Also contains a Deadset remix that treads in more acidic territories. This one will be a big one for the upcoming Fall season, for sure!(MTP009)HOUSE- 9/24/07-GE

SAVANTE GARDE
TRIGGER HAPPY *ACQUAVIVA* (DEFINITIVE) 12  - 106568
Trigger Happy features a vocal that sounds a lot like the same vocalist from Tony Senghore's "Hey Chica", very quirky and funky laced into a fat electro house groove. John Acquaviva & Oliver Giacomotto both step up for remixes, both extra large rubs for those prime time moments.(DEFVIN0703)HOUSE- 9/24/07-FR

CLOUD
DIAMONDTRACK (EXECPTIONAL) 12  - 106606
At only 20, Cloud (aka Alex Berg) is fast establishing himself on the electronic music scene. The debut album "Adventures" spawned four excellent singles that won him fans including Jimpster and Tom Middleton both of whom went on to remix one. 'Diamondtrack' joins the dots between softer electronic melodies of Lindstrom and Plej and the tougher funkier side of German minimalism ala Poker Flat / Kompakt. The vocal on this beautiful number reminds us a lot of Hird's "Keep You Hird".(EXEC83)HOUSE- 9/24/07-UK

SCHAEBEN & VOSS
MENTAL BLANK (KOMPAKT) 12  - 106791
Kompakt and it's sublabels have been on a friggin tear lately! This new one from Schaeben & Voss comes absolutely correct for fans of deep and driving tech house flavor, not to mention the more jackin side of things. The vocals on this one creep through to tear the crowd a new one. Always unexpected, and tried and tested by guys like Josh Wink and Ricardo Villalobos.(KOMPAKT162)TECH HOUSE- 9/24/07-GE

MYSTIC INSTITUTE
CYBERDON *RELOAD RMXS* (EVOLUTION) 12  - 106812
Another classic and very welcome repress for the Evolution label. For this one, it's another Mark Pritchard/Tom Middleton/Reload/Link/Global Communication/etc masterpiece. The Cyberdon EP covers the spectrum. Theres one of the most beautiful ambient tracks ever made, back to back with two of the deepest Detroit Techno influenced pieces you will ever hear. This one is a must for those who collect the older stuff (been out of print for well over 12 years) and those just getting into the better sides of traditional techno, as these still sound fresh and new.(EVOLUTON06)TECHNO- 9/27/07-NL

BRETT JOHNSON /HEATHER *LTD*

DJ MASS & PAUL CARI
SWINGERS DELIGHT (PACHA BLUE) 12  - 106602
The original mix of "Swingers Delight" was an anthem at Pacha Ibiza the entire summer and now finally finds a vinyl release. For us it's all about the Nacho Marco 'Deep' mix. It has a delicious Jimpster / Freerange vibe about it with beautiful melodies, deep hynotic elements and great shuffling beats.(PB006T)HOUSE- 9/24/07-FR

MAGIK JOHNSON
ASYLUMN SNEAKER (CURFEW) 12  - 106738
NRK regular Magik Johnson delivers this next nasty release for the Curfew imprint. The A side sounds a lot like a techier Switch production with nasty booming bass, thunderous beats and rugged filtering and freaking synth riffs. Magik J gets all freaky on the twisted electro synths on the drops and the beat programming is all Solid Groove. SICK! On the flip you'll find the 'Padded Cell' remix, an equally powerful fidgety bomb of a mix.(CURFEW005)HOUSE- 9/24/07-UK

LEN FAKI / 2000 AND ONE
WORK / ODYSEE (PODIUM) 12  - 106749
2000 & One gets all old school with retro synth stabs/riffs on 'Work' which also borrows just a touch of the vocal from Steve Poindexter's "Work That Motherfucker" with a nice touch of acid and deep clubby beats. On the backside Len Faki drops a techno treat in the form of 'Odysee', an epic Hacker styled sonic voyage.(POD004)TECHNO- 9/24/07-GE

SHORTBOARD
MORNIN TIDE *DEEPCHILD/SIMON F (CURL) 12  - 106435
Simon Flowers mix of "Mornin Tide" appears first on this record and it's no mistake, his mix is already a firm fave of Anja Schneider, Ben Watt and Steve Bug and is a perfect blend of techno, Chicago house, minimal and jazz. It is the perfect transition from say Perlon to Poker Flat and has soul, which is far to uncommon in today's crunchy minimal numbers. Future Classic's Deepchild turns in a mix that fuses deep techno kicks and dubby bleeps making it a perfect warm up tune while the original is a stunning melodic number that also is a perfect mixture of deep techno and jazz with soul.(CURL007)HOUSE- 9/10/07-GE

DADA BLEEP
GHIPWE / ENTER THE ECHO (FEAR OF FLYING ) 12  - 106438
You might recall Dada Bleep from their outstanding offerings on the RZ, Lo Fi Stereo or the Anorak imprint. Here for the second Fear of Flying limited release they unleash two bumping little Cocoon styled numbers that should also please fans of the Liebe Detail imprint with much emphasis put on the movement of the grooves which swing nicely with dope percussion and bleepy effected synth work riding nicely on top.(FOFLTD002)HOUSE- 9/10/07-GE

SUCKER DJS FT WRAY
SALVATION *JT VANELLI* (TOOLROOM) 12  - 106516
Sucker Djs deliver the ultimate house anthem of the year on Toolroom here, blowing every other contender out of the water. A simple but oh so powerful vocal from vocalist Wray provides the soul while tough driving drums, slick key grooves and funky bass provide the push on this deep peak time tune. Remixes come from Ben Macklin who goes it alone on a mix along with a rub from Italy's finest, Joe T Vanelli who heads down a more twisted electro house avenue.(TOOL030V)HOUSE- 9/24/07-UK

RUNE & MICHAEL
BARITON / SISTER (ARTI FARTI) 12  - 106630
Rune is best known for his smash hit "Calabria" which went on to sell over 2 million copies (no shitting!). The A side sees Rune team up with Michael on "Bariton" a deeply emotional and moody slice of epic house that has melodies reminiscent of Orbital, a bouncy bell like synth bassline and clever sound design and production. 'Sister' is a funkier number laced with one nasty bassline and a riff that follows the same line inducing shaking asses for sure!(ARTI004)HOUSE- 9/17/07-GE

CHRISTIAN FISCHER VS S SETLUR
LAUTA (DEFINITION RED) 12  - 106741
Where to begin, where to begin. First of all Sabrina Setlur is a German hip hop queen and Christian Fischer is an electro / techno dj. Their collaboration results in something so unique we had a hard time putting it into any one genre. The 'Electro Vocal' mix features a massive grinding synth hook that has Herve written all over it while Cameo 'Word Up' styled beats push things along and Sabrina's vocal rides like an R&B singer doing Peaches & Hird in the groove. The 'Heavy Swirl' mix drops the vocals and hits harder in the squelchy synth and drum department. This is some party rocking shit and something very cool and different!(DEFRED001)TECHNO- 9/24/07-GE

NEED TO FEEL LOVED *ELECTRO* (ELECTRODIRT)  - 106815

Lots of pitch shifting, vocoder effects, latin percussion, moody dreamy synth s & strings and some dirty ass bass to boot! BACK IN STOCK!!(OM266)HOUSE- 6/26/07-US
