JESSE ROSE /JAMIE ANDERSON
BODYJACKIN (INTL DEEJAY GIGOLO) 12  - 106157
Jesse Rose and Jamie Anderson deliver a 12" that does exactly what it says on the tin, namely get your body jackin'!! These guys make their Gigolo debut something that people will be talking about for quite some time, reworking Steve 'Silk' Hurley's Chicago classic 'Jack Your Body' into something that Silk probably would never have imagined possible. Filthy, acidic, tech/fidget/electro/acid house sound to this annhilating package.(GIGOLO207)HOUSE- 8/20/07-GE

LENNY KRAVITZ
ARE YOU GONNA GO *BASOSKI* (WHITE) 12  - 105638
Absolutely hammering remix of Kravitz' 'Are You Gonna Go My Way' by pumping house legend Olav Basoski!! The ripping guitar riffs and vocals from the original get filtered and re-tweaked with a host of old school loop drops, filthy rolling basslines and Olav's tried & tested 4/4 beats. This thing sounds outta control on a proper system!!(LENNY001)HOUSE- 8/21/07-NL

KLOVN
MCKLAREN *TRENTEMOLLER/MINILOG (PINEAPPLE) 12  - 106123
Klovn come from Denmark with a hypnotic and super-deeeeeeeep track, perfect for those warm summer sessions!! Remixes come from both Trentemoller and Minilogue, with Minilogue's mix sporting their trademark tweaky club sound while Trentemoller goes reduced, techy and clubby all at once!(PINE009)MINIMAL HOUSE- 8/20/07-GE

ZZT *TIGA/ZOMBIE NATION*
LOWER STATE OF *JUSTICE* (TURBO) 12  - 105522

SAMIM
HEATER *C VONSTROKE* (GET PHYSICAL) 12  - 105576
Samim heralds the arrival of his debut album for Get Physicawith 'Heater', easily one of the most talked about tunes across ANY genre lately, namely THE tune with the accordion in it, caned by Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin and just a select few others on limited promo. The insidiously tight, bumping rhythms and far-out accordion patterns make 'Heater' an instant club anthem, no doubt about it. Claude Vonstroke then provides a jacking yet hypnotic re-do on the flip which adds some deep conga rhythms, twisted jack beats and some ungodly things done to those accordions- damn catchy!! RE-PRESSED AND BACK FOR MORE!!(GPM074)ELECTRO HOUSE- 8/06/07-GE

DETROIT BEATDOWN VOL 2
EP 1 *DJ MINX/R DOKES* (THIRD EAR) 12  - 106049
Instead of a 3xlp and 2xcd compilation as in previous'Detroit Beatdown' releases, 'Volume Two' will be spread across 5 seperate 12" and Dbl 12" offerings, starting with this one, the 'Black EP'. DJ Minx's 'Lavender Lust', opens DB2. Minx has delivered a deep, twisted groover that just gets deeper and deeper, a slow grinder clocking in at 109 bpm and running for a hypnotic 10 minutes in length. Reggie Dokes follows with the lilting and reflective 'The Skin I'm In'. The track has a delicious, warm vibe that will work really well early in a set. Smith & Hall 'Theme' opens the flip side. Delano Smith and Derwin Hall have collaborated to produce a big, punchy soulful anthem. Finally Black Art Music {aka Greg Stafford} delivers 'Keepin' The Groove', a deep and atmospheric track which does exactly what it says; takes the groove and runs with it!(3EEP076)TECH HOUSE- 8/20/07-GE

CRAIG TORRANCE /PHILIP H
SHRINKAGE *SAMIM* (FOUR TWENTY) 12  - 106132
Dope new minimal tech jewel on Four Twenty from Craig Torrance & Phillip Hochstrate. Their first co-production spawns a deep tech house record that doesn't come any more emotive or sultry. 'Shrinkage' has been given a rework by Samim, one of the hottest names out there as you know. He doesn't disspoint either, turning up the funkometer to way past 11, resulting in a phat, phunky, err, phbouncing rework that lines up quite nicely next to his 'Heater' rocket on Get Physical.(FOUR033)MINIMAL TECHNO- 8/20/07-GE

NEW ORDER / EURYTHMICS
BLUE MONDAY/HERE COMES*FREEMAS (GANGSTE) 12  - 106150
New remix offshoot for the Freemasons who've tackled two of our personal fave tracks for this release. The a-side features New Order's 'Blue Monday' getting a funky house reworking, with the original track filtered out and that classic 2 note bassline churning away for all it's worth. We think Barney, Hooky, Steve and Gillian would approve! On the flip is a funkier outing as 'Here Comes The Rain Again' gets a superior 'Masons treatment.(GGR003J)HOUSE- 8/20/07-UK

INCOGNITO
OUT OF THE STORM *C CRAIG* (TALKING LOUD) 12  - 106134

JAN DRIVER
KARDOMOON (GRAND PETROL) 12  - 106121

JUNIOR JACK
E SAMBA *ELECTRODIRT* (ELECTRODIRT) 12  - 106148
The cheeky Electrodirt crew dig up some 'dirt' on Junior Jack's 'E Samba'!! This massive club hit gets an equally massive electro house treatment done in a fat, pumping CR2 style- think Kurd Maverick meets Dave Spoon- with the original's sampled vox and keys joined by rolling 4/4 beats and a nasty synth bassline that makes this track RIP!!(EDIRT003)ELECTRO HOUSE- 8/20/07-UK

Very limited 7" vinyl - no digital or CD out there. For serious heads / dj's only, Dj Meme takes this tune in a whole new direction while perfectly arranging Tracey K's seductive vocal.(TSOD02)HOUSE- 8/20/07-UK

PETE SHELLEY /DRINK ELECTRICIT
WITNESS THE CHANGE/SUPERSTITIO (SU) 12  - 106113
One of a number of awesome dub/instrumental versions from the ex-buzzcock, this is a big new york alternative dance fave and also found favour with baldelli and the gang. They've beefed it up in mastering and stretched it out to save you tracking down doubles of the original - an increasingly tricky task these days.(NYNX3001)EDIT- 8/20/07-UK

FEEL SO GOOD (GOSSIP) 12  - 93905
Big tune right here for the disco strutters. Massive filtered drop on the A-side original. The flip Hott 22 mix is more of a peak hour houser with a serious big  room Soulfuric pumping energy and jumbo bassline. ROBSZHIM ARGON
FROM A TO ZHAN W/DUSTIN ZAHN (WRECKLESS) 12  - 103386
Hearty minimal and manic electro techno abound on this latest release from the Wreckless camp. Argon's "Bitch" starts things off with the Dustin Zahn Remix first. A dubbed out interpretation of the original by Minneapolis's Dustin Zahn that aims to hypnotize. Revised, remixed, re-envisioned. Not content to stumble the mind, Zahn evokes this art from the dancefloor up, from the primal to the logical. Next up is the original "Bitch", starting out modestly and building it lays it's foundation with analog drum patterns while tablas and congas find their way into the soundscape as analog synths drone and pan slowly into the forefront. The liquified leadline slides across the stereo field while dub elements finish   out. Flip for "We Are Disco" a wonderfully manic piece with a solitary Doepfer A100 oscillator that gets Morodor-ized on top of a shuffle groove with a permutated vocal offset by stuttering cymbals. Last up is "Incongruous" also with a startling energy that skillfully combines current techno sounds with a classic Detroit feel while still being impossible to stylistically pin down.(WRCK004)TECHNO- 8/13/07-US
