DOMESTIC HOUSE 1 of 2
MM001 : Giom – People EP
Motion Music – US

Freshman  release here from our friend Greg Yuen over at Primal Records.  This is actually Giom's first solo EP after a serious string of dope remixes for labels like Amenti Music and Aroma, and what a debut release it is! "People" got tons of love in WMC and has received support from Farina, Heather, Raoul Belmans, LCG and many others thanks to its wicked vocal and perfect groove. Notts house kingpins Kinky Movement turn in a quality remix on B1 complete with chunky bass and a sick breakdown . Giom takes things deeper with "Where U From" on B2, a lush late night excursion that completes this EP in fine fashion. This record should do some serious damage over the next few months, an instant classic A1:  PEOPLE - B1:  PEOPLE *KINKY MOVEMENT REMIX* - B2:  WHERE U FROM

SSR018 : Jazzy Eyewear
Cruise Control – So Sound Recordings

Ready to feel the heat? and this time coming directly from Miami in summer time, brought to you by Jazzy Eyewear. Last year Fabian toured the world presenting his debut LP "Cruise Control" and here is the first single, which gives title to the album. Ladies and gents, the long awaited 12’ "Cruise Control". Going to the point, the original is a funk bomb, very original drum programming, crazy basses and tweaks, delay changes and a good mixture between wet and dry, laying down this amazing electric groove. To add the cherry on the cake, we have Del's sexy, sassy vocals setting in a trance every girl out there and turning the track into a "Moist Control". The hot short lyrics bring the funk to the dance floor, in such a way where everyone can relate to it. Del has previously worked with Fabian on awesome tracks such as "Gotta be real" on Uma Recordings, "Girls & Boys" on Aroma, "Let me in" on Icon, "Kinky girl" on Kolour and many more. Fabian's productions have been very well received all over the world and you can find his tracks on a wide range of compilations and mixes, from Darren Emerson to Hed Kandi and from Sony to HBO. If you thought the above was hot, flip the record and get ready, 'cause here IK'S DROPIN' THE FUNK BOMB DUB and this is no joke. These guys need no introduction and have been a big influence to many of us all over the world. This jacking groove will carve in your soul, the analog bleep, the chopped up samples, the HOT hats, Del's dub vocal, the fat bass, the funky horns, a phone dialing in tune with the groove and a female vintage vocal adding a generous touch of soul.Awesome rework, Inland Knights style and one more time, taking things to the next level.

SPAT006 : Real Time Hand Motion
The Primetime Man Lotion EP – Spatula City

Hot off the heels of SPAT005, The Sound Republic's Ill at ease 10”, the Spatula City crew is proud to present some more fresh talent with REAL TIME HAND MOTION's Prime Time Man Lotion Ep! These two have been making major waves with blistering originals and remixes over the last year or so, and “Break ya Neck” and “Who Got it” are probably two of the hottest examples of what these guys are capable of. Unbelievable studio trickery in the vein of SpatulaCity label bosses The Sound Republic, RTHM deliver funky grooves, dance floor fire starters, and were without question one of the most talked-about artists at this year's WMC. This is only the beginning of what will surely be a long career for this Nashville duo. Chicago's Sexual Chocolate (of Junky Trunk Records fame) delivers a nasty Dubsided-esque wobly-bassline stomper of a remix for “Break ya Neck” while the original funks, shuffles and grooved its way in to the  boxes of all of the underground heavy hitters with massive support from Dj mes, The Sound Republic, Diz, Raoul Belmans, Justin Martin, The Inland Knights are more. Keep your ear to the underground and know that when you see a RTHM record, its a buy-on-sight affair. These two aren’t messing around. Another stormer from Spatula City!

Eric Prydz releases an absolute nuclear weapon of a release for the 8th Pryda installment, once again pushing the envelope of the electro club sound WAY past what everyone else is doing at the moment. Grammy nominated talent Nic Fanciuli provides the remix, a more hypnotic speaker rattling rub that builds nicely around that awesome synth freak out hook with great effects that trip over themselves and build into mini frenzies. SMITH N HACK
TO ALL OUR DISCO FRIENDS (SMITHNHACK) 12  - 105857
Heres a special re-release of the strongest track from the ULTRA-HOT Smith N Hack LP from 2002 that was composed entirely of samples from Hamilton Bohannan called "Tribute". It's been LONG gone for years, but theyve decided to release just the strongest cut from it here. Youve probably heard the track before, as it's quite catchy. Absolutely ROCKIN bassline to start it off, then a very twangy guitar for the catchy parts, as well as some strong stabs of drums and guitars here and there. It was big for everyone from DANNY TENAGLIA to LAURANT GARNIER to even RICHIE HAWTIN! Dont sleep on it this time around, as it might not be around very long or ever again.(SMTHHCKLTD)HOUSE- 7/30/07-GE

ELTRON
ITS MY MUSE (FESTPLATTEN) 12  - 105864
Strong release from Eltron here. It starts with a SUPER deeeep remix from Dave DK. Not really like what were used to out of him. Late night tech house with really warm pads that pan from time to time to disorient in strange ways, along with shuffly drums to keep the spunk up. On the flip are 2 originals from Eltron. The first one is a jumpy and funky number that should please those into the Boys Noize or Tiefschwarz thing, but like it to be toned down a tad. The closer is the original of the remix on the A-side. Shuffly and techy drums but at house tempo. Some nice strings that make an appearence here and there with some dark piano chords for the breakdown.(FESTPLAT36)TECH HOUSE- 7/30/07-GE

JOHNNY FIASCO
TUNNEL VISION EP (CONTROL) 12  - 105841
Fiasco givesus a very diverse set of tracks here. A1's "Go Deep" is a thick latin tinged number, based around an infectious piano loop and monster bassline. "My House" is a traditional Fiasco acid track, with full shuffling drums and twisted, squelching 303 lines filtering up and down throughout. Flip for "The Message", a classic disco sample excursion that is highly effective on the dancefloor, polished off with the climactic female vocal "love is the message". Last but certainly not least in the B2 position is "Hijacked". with it's abrasive bassline and clicky drums, it's the sort of vibe we've been hearing recently from Hipp-E and the Odori crew.
