CIREZ D
TIGER STYLE (MOUSEVILLE) 12  - 105333
After a fairly long break with Mouseville Mr Eric Prydz returns under his Cirez D moniker to deliver this heart-stopping 2 tracker!! The a-side cut 'Horizons' combines sublime electro synth melodies and vocoded parts with slamming drums and Eric's trademark hefty basslines. All the copycat producers biting Eric's style recently will have miles to go to catch up to this shit!! The flip side 'Tiger Style' is a filthy affair with huge dirty bass and killer drums which makes the ideal peak time floor weapon.(MOUSE006)ELECTRO HOUSE- 7/16/07-UK

SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO

TANNER ROSS & KILOWATT
HEAVYWEIGHT EP (DIRTYBIRD) 12  - 105304
This release has been 100% battle tested on the road by both Claude VonStroke and Justin Martin. Both of these cuts just rocked this year’s Detroit Electronic Music Festival to capacity crowds! Tanner Ross and KiloWatts come to us from Boston with their jam 'Kruger Fingers' sounding like a cross between Matthew Dear and Honey Dijon. Rolling funky bass lines with a wicked popping techno synth make this tune able to stand out in both house AND techno sets. The flipside 'Data Rape' is the track for the job when you just need to hammer the crowd. Sounding like Plastikman gone to another level, this collab with The Rejekts blends funk with insane rolling percussion.(DB012)TECH HOUSE- 7/09/07-GE

BUSHWACKA
LONG DISTANCE (OLMETO) 12  - 105355
More minimal, tech house madness from Bushwacka and the Olmeto crew! Sparse beeps and haunting interference / pads merge with that trademark Bushwacka sound on "Long Distance" which features sounds that sound like they were lifted from the opening of the Six Million Dollar man eventually giving way into a hypnotic and intoxicating groove. On the flip "Back To Point Zero" has a similar minimal tech house vibe that should definitely please fans of Poker Flat.(OLM012)HOUSE- 7/16/07-UK

SE SA FT SHARON PHILLIPS
LIKE THIS LIKE THAT (PEPPERMINT JAM) 12  - 105499
HUGE TUNE ALERT! Bob Sinclar has been banging the hell out of this killer from Se:Sa (aka 1/2 of Syke N Sugarstarr). The original mix borrows a touch of a Dee Lite sample and laces a raggamuffin female vocal over the top. It's easy to see why Mr Sinclar loves this tune so as it sounds a LOT like his own pristine productions. A rocking instrumental is included along with an accapella to boot!(PJMS0103)HOUSE- 7/16/07-FR

FELIX DA HOUSECAT
FUTURE CALLS THE DAWN / SWEET (DIFFERENT) 12  - 105511

DE LOREN & COLORS
ZANCOZUMBADA *MENDO/MANACA* (MAGNA) 12  - 105424
Two years after its release on Magnetica, "Zancozumbada" from De Loren & Colors gets the remix treatment from Carlos Manaca and Mendo. The original is still as nasty as ever and still a favorite of Danny Tenaglia, Superchumbo and D Formation, pure Twisted / Tribal America dark tribal vocal funk. Carlos Manaca's mix keeps the dope tribal vibe of the original adding a slightly more tracky hypnotic and darker edge to the cut reminiscent of Chus & Ceballos material. Mendo provides a dubbier, druggier even more percussive mix with slick effects and trippy choppy use of the vocals.(MGN026)HOUSE- 7/12/07-SP

ZIMBARDO
TV AGAIN (SUBURBAN TRACKS) 12  - 105434
Nasty nasty gear here from Zimbardo with his "TV AGAIN" begins life as a rocking slab of funked up Spanish styled electro house business with beefy beats, extra large synth action and choppy cut and paste sample action that has a Switch meets Mossa meets Steve Angello feel. The breakdown of this joint is wicked seeing the track morph into a breaky electro tangent before kicking back in even larger than before. This is pure party rocking gear for sure.(SUB013)HOUSE- 7/12/07-SP

I TRY *J ANDERSON* (URBAN TORQUE) 12  - 104719
2nd remix disc from Mr Dubois aka Funk D'Void is an all-star affair featuring contributions from Jamie Anderson, Steve Ferrand and Aqua Bassino. Jamie's mix fittingly leads off the package, a deeper than deep excursion with sublime taunting synths, uplifting chords and rounded techy beats that've been gaining rave reviews from Laurent Garnier, Digweed, James Talk to name but a few. SUNTZU SOUND PR 1 LUV
BLACK DAYLIGHT *AFEFE IKU* (YORUBA) 10  - 105401
Originally released on the Suntzu Sound Label, this tune quickly became a favorite in the West London broken beat scene and a massive anthem at the legendary Co-Op nights. The song was then picked up by Osunlade to get the Yoruba treatment, and is now is re-released on Yoruba Records with some exclusives not featured in its original release. The original song has been revised and engineered by Yoruba master himself, Osunlade, so you can now enjoy the original with an extra thump and punch that will make the listening experience even more enjoyable than before. Now, let´s get to the exclusives. Yoruba´s mysterious wunderkind, Afefe Iku, brings a total funked out reworking of "Black Daylight". With its hard hitting snares, and slapped bass funk, Afefe steps out of the dance realm we´re used to hearing from him, and bangs out a blazing remix for this release. Finishing off the already sure fire single is a big remix for the househeads courtesy of Sonar Kollektiv's own Slope. With this remix, Slope captures some true Yoruba vibes on this one with its minimal yet very  expressive and percussive beat and aims straight to the dancefloor.(YS10V)HOUSE- 7/12/07-UK

Four mixes in total on this platter, the first from Robbie Rivera prodige Dj Pedro who drops an epic funked up late night locked on bomb of a mix with wicked synth work that filters nicely under JD's vocals. This mix is a winner for sure and is followed by an acappella. On the flip Sebastien Drums provides a mix with retro synth action, beefy drums and dope old school appeal. The original mix is last and features a trippy and quite infectious synth riffs, sweaty jacking beats and hypnotic grooves that permeate funk.(MCV007)HOUSE- 7/16/07-FR

HIEROGLYPHIC BEING
GUIDANCE / DIRECTION (APNEA) 12  - 105557
Jamal Moss aka Hieroglyphic Being produces some of the dirtiest and nastiest mental jack techno known to man or beast. This time around, he's lightened things up a bit and made some deeper more atmospheric techno for the Apnea label. SATVA BODDHI
BRIAS OFFERING (YORUBA) 10  - 101326
Bria´s Offering was the introductory track on the Osunlade the Osunlade disc of the "Soul Heaven Presents: Osunlade & Spen" and was one of the most talked about songs from the WMC of last year. Add to that his collaborations with Alton Miller as well as working with Afefe Iku for his upcoming album Boddhi will be one of the names to look out for in 2007. In true Yoruba style deepness "Bria´s Offering" delivers an invitation to the dancefloor. It´s syncopated rhythms, dubbed out voices, deep keys and smooth guitar work give this one unique vibe that will have the dancers dancing, and everyone else bopping their head to the beat. The Roots mix brings similar elements of the original, but it kicks up the percussion, giving it a more Afro house feel. With congas in full effect, this one will raise the spirituality bar up a notch. Sounds like a meeting between the Swedish House Mafia and Gary Numan. Remix comes from Sex Schon who recently reworked In Flagranti's "Nonplusutra" to fine effect. Here Sex Schon put the French nu rave touch on "Sleepless Night" making it a favorite of Sebastien and Justice.(BIO003)NU RAVE- 7/16/07-FR

SOLU TU *ISOLEE* (FRESH FISH) 12  - 105570
Fresh Fish have done something rarely seen in dance music these days. They are setting to release Paulo Olarte's "Solo Tu" and decide to get a remixer. Well, they get Isolee to do it, and he knocks it out the park, naturally. So, upon release of said 12", the Isolee goes on the A-side! Why? Because is fucking incredible, thats why! CLASSIC Isolee here. Groovy and nervous and never all that revealing as to where th song is actually headed. When the quick vocal part comes in, it's as suprising as it is wicked! But, I dont mean to discredit the original. Which is a rocker in its own right. Bassline more dominant and the drums are a bit heavier. I could see Stacy Pullen being way into this one!(FRESH05)HOUSE- 7/19/07-GE

SOCKS AND SANDALS
RISHI SARURN (MICROCOSM) 12  - 105553
The return of Socks & Sandals! These 2 were known for their kick ass live shows all around the New York minimal scene a couple years ago, and then went on hiatus so they could work indepentantly. Well, the return is welcome, as this is some of the best work they have done, together or alone. "Spaced" is a long Villalobos influenced mental minimal techno number. Thick drums with some really creepy FX on barely audible vocals is what mostly makes this one up. On the flip, "Pure Vida" is a steady bumper of a tech house tune, while the "Lucidril Remix" is more pumpin. All 3 cuts are stellar in their own ways.(MICRO1020)MINIMAL TECHNO- 7/16/07-GE

YARDA
TAN(Z)TE (";!"@.*!% LFB) 12  - 105554
Top notch deep housey stuff here highly influenced by the more recent house oriented Cadenza releases. Andomat 3000, to be more specific. Hopefully this Slovakian keeps it up, as this is good stuff that we would like to hear more of.(LFB005)MINIMAL TECHNO- 7/16/07-GE

JOHN DALY

YOUNG PUNX
YOUVE GOT TO *SOULSEEKERZ* (MOFO HIFI) 12  - 105616
Brand new big room electro house mixes of Young Punx' latest smasher 'You've Got To' led by an awesome Soulseekerz remix that will be HUGE with the Data crowd, thanks to its fat electro riffs, chord shifting bassline and effected female vocals that really give this tune a peak time-ready sound. The flip features the Young Punx dropping their 'Fembot Funk Mix' , upping the ante considerably with a thumping 4/4 beat. twisted sounds, filter effects and chunky Meat Katie meets Dave Spoon vibe. Awesome.(MFH013)HOUSE- 7/16/07-UK

TWILL
HERE WE GO AGAIN *YOHAN SIMON* (SO PRETTY) 12  - 105112
If you're into Antoine Clamaran's gear definitely check out France's newest prodigy, Twill. His debut offering feels a lot like Mr Clamaran's output. "Here We Go Again" is a big room vocal bomb with infectious synth riffs, beefy beats and one of those locked on grooves that draws you in and doesn't let go. Yohan Simon (Peaktime/Influence) provides the remix, a more filtered building bomb that explodes with dancefloor energy.(SOP002T)HOUSE- 7/09/07-FR

RIVER OCEAN
LOVE AND HAPPINESS *MAW* (STRICTLY RHYTHM) DP  - 105128
'Anthem' and 'Classic' are terms tossed about like so much confetti, but just once in a while the record in question deserves such an epithet.  And River Ocean's 'Love and Happines' is unarguably such a record.  A masterpiece both vocally and musically, 'Love & Happiness' was originally released in 1994, just as producers Masters At Work became the Number 1 house production act in the world and a little before India became a hugely successful Latino singing sensation.  That it never became a crossover record - the complex Latin rhythms and sophisticated hooks were too rich for the pop charts, endeared it all the more to the house nation underground. Now MAW tackle the tricky task of remixing the opus, the first time 'Love & Happiness' has ever been remixed.  And they get it going on both ways, turning out one retweaked for '07 version and another totally revamped modernist rub that takes  in shades of Mr V and Ame.  A true classic, then and now.(SR12636DJ)HOUSE- 7/09/07-UK

JESSE ROSE & OLIVER $
WAKE UP *JESSE ROSE RMX* (MADE TO PLAY) 12  - 105378
Jesse Rose & Oliver $ have teamed up for a darker than usual house music thang. Wake Up has a big sound to it. Not big as in big progressive house, but more on the subtle sounds of a big warehouse tune from 97. This one is sure to move you. Dark bassline but steady percussive rhythms with nice FX work on a sound that follows you around the whole track. Solid stuff here, but then again it's on Made To Play... so you knew it was solid already!(MTP008)HOUSE- 7/09/07-GE

MARC ROMBOY
SUNBURST *ALEXKID* (SIMPLE) 12  - 105379
New one here from Marc Romboy on the Simple label. Moody tech house stuff here, with a VERY detroit influenced number. Think "Jupiter Jazz" from Underground Resistance and you got it! Also contains a rock solid remix from Alexkid.(SIMPLE0724)HOUSE- 7/09/07-GE

SUPER MAL LUCIANA
BIGGER THAN BIG *MICKY SLIM* (UNIVERSAL) 12  - 105439
Universal thought this track was definitely "Bigger Than Big", so they picked it up from indie Frenchie imprint Bandit and enlisted man of the moment Micky Slim to do his thing on the track. Micky's mix is typically large and jacking. This package also features the Lifelike remix and the original.(1740254)HOUSE- 7/09/07-UK

RALPH SLIWINSKI
BOMB JACK EP (MORRIS AUDIO CITYSPORT) 12  - 105530

Fred's trademark funky tech house style-pumpin' dancefloor beats wuth a deep and moody vibe. On the Flip "Come On Everybody" is a little more of a late night houser, with shuffling beats, a funky bassline and lots of    vocal samples throughout. The strings on top make it a little reminiscent of Black Science Orchestra's "New Jersey Deep"which should please the late night crowds. THE REMIXES W/BOBBY & KLEIN (RINGSIDE) 12  - 105273
Chicago Jack gets remixed by Bobby & Klein and Santiago and Bushido. Bobby & Klein's remix is a jacktastic cut up funkathon, bringing back the best parts of Bryan,s original and throwing in some new goodies for good measure.
