The remix comes from Duckenfield, an 808 bottom feeder of a tune that will give your subwoofers a serious run for their money. 'Anthem' and 'Classic' are terms tossed about like so much confetti, but just once in a while the record in question deserves such an epithet.  And River Ocean's 'Love and Happines' is unarguably such a record.  A masterpiece both vocally and musically, 'Love & Happiness' was originally released in 1994, just as producers Masters At Work became the Number 1 house production act in the world and a little before India became a hugely successful Latino singing sensation.  That it never became a crossover record - the complex Latin rhythms and sophisticated hooks were too rich for the pop charts, endeared it all the more to the house nation underground. Now MAW tackle the tricky task of remixing the opus, the first time 'Love & Happiness' has ever been remixed.  And they get it going on both ways, turning out one retweaked for '07 version and another totally revamped modernist rub that takes  in shades of Mr V and Ame.  A true classic, then and now.(SR12636DJ)HOUSE- 7/09/07-UK

Bria´s Offering was the introductory track on the Osunlade the Osunlade disc of the "Soul Heaven Presents: Osunlade & Spen" and was one of the most talked about songs from the WMC of last year. Add to that his collaborations with Alton Miller as well as working with Afefe Iku for his upcoming album Boddhi will be one of the names to look out for in 2007. In true Yoruba style deepness "Bria´s Offering" delivers an invitation to the dancefloor. It´s syncopated rhythms, dubbed out voices, deep keys and smooth guitar work give this one unique vibe that will have the dancers dancing, and everyone else bopping their head to the beat. The Roots mix brings similar elements of the original, but it kicks up the percussion, giving it a more Afro house feel. With congas in full effect, this one will raise the spirituality bar up a notch. 'These Eyes ' is a dark, bassy acid house track with a twisted dialogue on top, openly sexy but in a classy, not too obvious way.
