Our good homie from Argentina "Jay West " brings the heat with his reworking of "Wanna Tell Ya" on side B1. With its boompty bass and wicked choppy vocal samples this one is sure to get a lot of play in the clubs! Last but not least we have Guy Herman's west coast remix which is a little more funker with a tougher groove. It features some sick vocal snippets and a bassline that is sure to flex those subwoofers. All in all a dope 4 tracker not to be missed out on.(DSM005)HOUSE- 4/23/07-BE

ROGER FRANCK
RAWSOME (EARTHRUMENTAL) 12 - 103438
The title sounds a bit Scooby Doo but the track is all about deep soulful underground house. Franck hits the spot on "Rawsome" with a perfect balance of hypnotic electronic elements and souful deep house attitude. A must for fans of Kerri Chandler's recent output. On the flip "The Spot" hits just that and is another perfectly balanced deep electronic soulful house anthem.(EM04)HOUSE- 4/23/07-FR

Justin Long's Dotbleep label keeps on the hot streak in a BIG way with this killer release from Natural Rhythm. Already getting canings from Heather, Derrick Carter and Swag, 'Mumble Mouth' and the flipside tracks 'Subway System' and 'Go Chica Go' are just what you'd expect from NR; twisted beat tracks dripping with lots of funk, jackin' Chi-town beats and raucous bassline pressure. Finally BACK IN STOCK!!(DBR016)HOUSE- 4/09/07-UK
KEYTRONICS ENSEMBLE
CALYPSO OF HOUSE *JABRE* (JUNO) 12 - 103303
Second release on the Juno imprint is another revived house classic. Keytronics Ensemble's (aka K-Tronics Ensemble) was a huge tune for Little Louis Vega, Kenny Dope, Tony Humpries and Mr Fingers to name a few back in the days and here gets a re-release and two wicked updates. The original sounds just as incredible as it did way back in 1990 when the track was released. It sounds a lot like something you'd hear on Spiritual Life or coming from Joe Claussel / Osunlade. Julien Jabre's new mix adds a deep electronic edge to the track with a hypnotic analog bassline, trippy synth stabs, subterranean effects and epic vibe that fans of his "War" track or Quentin Harris' "Lets Be Young" will love. Pearn & Bridges take a more jacking peak time electro house route, an epic Prydz / Angello styled mix that vaults this one into a whole new dimension. Look out for more incredible classic revivals from the Juno label.(JUNO2)HOUSE- 4/23/07-UK
KID SCIENCE
THE LIGHTS *CHATELAIN* (BRIQUE ROUGE LIMITED) 12 - 103577
Justin Robertson recorded this wonky acid house tune with Gez as Kid Science. Thier original mix is has been getting major attention from Ralph Lawson, Paul Wooford and John Tejada. First up on the remix front is Boogie Drama (Was Not Was/Mood Music) who turn in a shaking mix which fattens up the bassline into Oizo territory, beefs up the beats and pushs the tune into more peak time territory. On the flip the brothers Chatelain, Nick & Danny (Ovum/NRK/Maya) turn in a mind blowing deep acidic mix with killer stabs, trippy synth riffs, nasty effects and a hynotic yet pumping vibe. We'll say it again, these guys are producing some of the coolest shit around and if you don't believe us, ask Josh Wink he agrees wholeheartedly.(BRLTD01)HOUSE- 4/23/07-FR
MANUEL TUR
ACORADO *W SAUL* (FREERANGE) 12 - 103592
3 tracks of quality deepness from this rising star who's already getting rave reviews on this EP from the likes of Justin Martin, Fred Everything and Ben Watt. Acorado {original} is a warm, fat and musical track using minimal synths layered to bring out intense amounts of energy and drive. Will Saul & Tam Cooper's remix takes an even more stripped-down approach that works really, really well here. Finally 'Dreadnought' takes a funkier route with an electronic edge.(FR088)HOUSE- 4/23/07-UK
DIGITALISM
TERRORLIGHT *EROL ALKAN* (KITSUNE) 12 - 102781
Wicked set of mixes of Digitalism's work on Kitsune. First up is "Zdarlight" which receives two mixes, the first by Paranoid Asteroid, a true club beast with heavy rocking synth stabs, a nice touch of distortion and blaring beats. Basement Trash's "Tryout" mix adds a wicked garage rock vibe that is absolutely infectious. Erol Alkan tears apart "Jupiter Room" on his "Simple Yet Effective" mix which is perfectly titled!(KITSUNE41)HOUSE- 4/23/07-FR
HADOUKEN
THAT BOY THAT GIRL (KITSUNE) 12 - 103437
Hadouken is an epileptic art attack of neon dayglow grimecore. They're the embodiment of gritty indie cool, as devastating as the Street Fighter move they're named for. "That Boy That Girl" has been buzzing in the underground for a bit now and is a smart riposte to scenesters and a damn catchy indie / grime / nu rave hybrid. DJ support from Erol Alkan, Trevor Jackson, Simian Mobile Disco, Richard X, and Twitch.(KITSUNE50)PUNK/FUNK/DISCO- 4/23/07-FR
AUDIO SOUL PROJECT
COMMUNITY *FISH GO DEEP* (NRK) 12 - 103440
Fish Go Deep throw down three first rate remixes of this Audio Soul classic from 2000, featuring the unforgettable lyrics & vocals from Ron Carroll. Fish Go Deep head straight for the 'back to basics' route of heads down, percussive, warehouse style house music, adding haunting delays to Carroll's vocal and teasing the production with delicate chords and strings all backed by a fat bubbling bass groove. This is stripped down and raw house music for the heads.(NRK128)HOUSE- 4/23/07-UK
FORCE OF NATURE
TO THE BRAIN *PRINS THOMAS* (MULE MUSIQ) 12 - 103539
Force of Nature are just completely UNSTOPPABLE these days! Always with the proper disco influenced house. This time around they went and hit one of the more classic BLACK COCK records from a bunch of years ago. Guess they figured if its not going to be readily available, they would do it themselves! Well, were glad they did cuz this one is a rocker! Easily accessable to those who this thing normally would inpress. Truly a crossover record thats going to be getting the minimal converts back over to the housey side of things!(MULE014)DEEP HOUSE- 4/23/07-GE

Yoshitoshi's Dean Coleman gives the original an anthemic remix while over on the flip Beat Freak's Simon & Shaker give it a tribal lashing while Yousef steps up with a dirty dub version.(STEALTH44)HOUSE- 4/23/07-UK
PIG & DAN
88 (PICKADOLL) 12 - 103509
Pig & Dan return to action with this brilliant outing on John Dahlback's Pickadoll imprint. '88' is a hypnotic journey based upon modulated old school chords combined with modern minimal tech processing and the duo's trademark tough, techy beats. The b-side starts with a dark techno beast called 'Blobz' sporting blunt arpeggios, stripped-down drumming and a buildup into a neo-trance extravaganza! The last cut 'Robots' consists of video game sounds taking you on an 8 bit dancefloor mission.(PICK022)TECH HOUSE- 4/23/07-GE
MENTAL OVERDRIVE
SPOOKS (FULL PUP) 12 - 103531
So, do you remember Mental Overdrive? It was a guy from back in the early 90's releasing quality musical techno on labels like R & S, Music Man, and other like-styled labels. He hasnt really been around for quite a while, but ol Prins Thomas snatched his up for a set of tracks that sound like classic Mental Overdrive stuff, but tailor made to fit the Full Pupp label. This ones going to be huge, folks! Probably the best Full Pupp yet, and destined to rock this summer and beyond. Its got instant classic written all over it!(FP08)ELECTRO DISCO- 4/23/07-GE
PAN POT
WHAT IS WHAT (MOBILEE) 12 - 103538

Always on the darker tip, with driving rhythms that sneak up on you and get the whole joint moving! If youre into HEARTTHROB or AGARIC, then this is for you.(MOBILEE023)MINIMAL TECHNO- 4/23/07-GE
MINILOGUE
ELEPHANTS PARADE (WAGON REPAIR) 12 - 103545
2 WAGON REPAIR releases in 2 weeks!?!? Last weeks Missing Link was a winner, and this one is right up there with it. This time around, it's Minilogue with their strongest release yet. Shuffly with some jazzy dark deep synth action going on. Sounds like if Mathew Jonson's "Marionnette" was more of a housey tune. On the flip, things are deeper and trippy, to say the least. This one grows and growsinto a true Detroit influenced classic.(WAG022)MINIMAL TECHNO- 4/23/07-GE
BABY FORD & ZIP
GLIDIN ALONG THE RIVERBED (PERLON) 12 - 103547
Peter 'Baby' Ford and Perlon boss Zip get together to show you what its all about with 'Glidin' Along The Riverbed' the result of being locked in the studio together since January. The title track is packed full of subtle quirky sounds and details that these two are famous for, with a funky sub bass rumble and swishing beats driving the groove. The flip features a new extended version of 'Morning Sir' which came out initially on last year's 'Superlongevity 4' compilation.(PERL61)MINIMAL HOUSE- 4/23/07-GE
ALEX KID & CHLOE
AFTERBLASTER *MAZI & DURIEZ* (KILL BRIQUE) 12 - 103594
Alex Kid teams up with Chloe on this mental slice of dark techy acidic house. This is pure dark driving evil shit and quite devistating, but wait there's more! Mazi & Duriez join forces on a mix which is just as haunting while just a touch deeper on the flip. Fellow F Communications producer Scan X turns in a mix with more techno flare that has been getting plays from the Hacker as well.(KBR10)HOUSE- 4/23/07-FR
STEPHEN BEAUPRE
LES FILLES *ARK/DIMBIMAN/MOLE* (MUZIQUE RISQ) 12 - 103625
Stephen Beaupre released his Foe Destroyer LP last summer and it still has a place in many DJ's record crates. One of the stronger cuts on it was "Les Filles": a completely wacked out drummy number with some really great vocal editing and one of the sicker basslines ever heard in techno. Its no shock they put a remix package together for it. If you know the original, and know the producers in question, then you know what it sounds like. Ark makes it more choppy, Dimbiman (aka Zip from perlon and half of Pantytec) makes it trippy yet funky in his own way, and The Mole makes it into his signature sludgy disco sound. Dont sleep on this one, as Im sure youll be getting some trainspotters asking about it throughout the whole summer.(RISQ11RMIX)MINIMAL HOUSE- 4/23/07-GE
MAULER
THE HYBRID PROJECT (TRAPEZ LIMITED) 12 - 103628
Fabrice Lig gives us another hot one under his MAULER guise. Hybrid is in an old meets new Detroit vibe with deep chords in the background, and jazzy 101-esque acidic lines to bring the funk. Micro Ballad is a krautrock jam out type of a dub techno track.(TRAPLTD054)MINIMAL TECHNO- 4/23/07-GE

Something for everyone here and its all FILTHY!! Fidget house hero Jesse Rose uses his own synth whistles and some jackin' beats to ignite some serious mayhem, whilst ghetto tech legend DJ Assault adds some killer vocals and fast, pumping electro beats into the equation- sickness!! CLAUDE VONSTROKE
WHISTLER/WHOS AFRAID (DIRTYBIRD) 12 - 93117
The monstrous follow-up to Claude Vonstroke's MASSIVE "Deep Throat" on dirtybird, this is a tasty two-track sample of his upcoming album. Claude quickly building a rep as a hot producer and this release is a must-have for the dirty electronic house heads. "The Whistler" recalls old school Paul Johnson on Relief, with tracky beats, hypnotic whistles and a buzzing brigade of bass, bleeps and siren samples. Nasty stuff, sounds like R2D2 on acid. The flip "Who's Afraid of Detroit"is an homage to Claude's hometown, a moody and dark cinematic track with some smooth synth washes, keys and a sleazy afterhours vibe. NOW AVAILABLE AS AN IMPORT ONLY!! NOT NEW.(DB005)HOUSE- 7/25/06-GE

Sog deliever us the new Kompakt Extra and this one were told is EXTREMELY LIMITED, unlike the rest of the Speichers. This one sounds like a super stripped down dub cut, without your typical dub sounds. But, dont let me lead you to thinking its a dubstep record. It's a super deep, extremely funky, soulful, spiritual Afro-Cuban house bomb that will certainly appeal to all aforementioned artists. Sick percussion, great chanting, pumping beats and futuristic sounds. The mix on the flip has a Martin Solveig vibe adding a touch of building and filtering action to give it more powerful dancefloor punch. LIMITED PRESSING!(PC002)HOUSE- 4/16/07-UK

NEGRO PIRATA (CMYK MUSIK) 12 - 103617
Madrid's Pilas has kept a low profile being part of the CMYK family for a bit now. With a track on MUPA 001, and a remix of DAMIAM SCHWARTZ under his belt, he releases his first EP for CMYK called Negro Pirata. And, boy, is it impressive! The A-side is a long and drawn out DARK but blissful minimal nightmare! Dark and scary with tons of trippy elements to really fuck with peoples heads! The 2 tracks on the flip are a bit different. The first cut is more housey than the others, maybe more of a Seth Troxler/Ryan Crosson vibe. Also contains a little rambling of someone on a voicemail. The 3rd track is just insanely fast. Like minimal house at drum & bass tempo or something. Looking forward to hearing more from this guy.(CMYK12)MINIMAL TECHNO- 4/23/07-GE

When Theo Parrish, Kenny Dixon JR, Mike Huckaby, Rick Wade, Mike Clark, Norm Talley, (have i name checked enough here yet) were having releases every week which we larger than life, and in my opinion the best days of house music. This record (as well as the rest of the series) is completely an homage to that era. Makes me want to break out my old MK records! Dont sleep on this one, folks!(DVR001)DEEP HOUSE- 4/16/07-GE
